To borrow from what Tasha said, Lawrence isn't really a horrible dude per se, but he's definitely in a fukk nikka phase. He just got out of a five-year relationship that ended with him getting cheated on and prior to that, he legit wasn't doing anything productive.

But I'm not surprised that he got past that argument quickly. Yeah, he lost out on consistent box (and a dude would care about that to some degree), but what this show seems to be leading toward is that Lawrence on the surface is going to look like one hell of a catch (job, objectively handsome, in shape, etc.), and that waitress let him know it too. The question is whether or not he's gonna choose to be savage or will his own shyt get in the way, and then we'll really see if he's a fukk nikka and not just a dude letting his fukk nikka tendencies win right now.

After all, they weren't doing anything but fukking in his mind. For him to dwell on that any further would have made it into something more. That said, it was on him to examine the behaviors he was showing and ask whether or not it would affect how Tasha saw things. He told her about Issa when he had no reason whatsoever to do so because they weren't exclusive. He agreed to go to that cookout and meet her folks when she said he didn't have to go, knowing that most of the time, meeting the folks means this is going somewhere long-term.

Yeah, she messed up when she tried to escalate it in order to see exactly where he thought it was between them.

On the other hand, she gave him a chance to show that it was exactly what she thought it was, and he chose to show her something different.

Still, people will get away with what they are allowed to get away with.

Tasha never pressured him at any point
Never forced him on a date or to the cook out
The way she invited him he could have easily said no or made a lie about why he couldnt go
he was the one making it like a relationship
fukk shyt and the cookout was just the final straw
she gave him a pass on smashing Issa
He come over there begging and she let it ride
Now he did some corny shyt leaving her hanging at the cookout
Dude was on some sucker stuff Tasha never put him in a position to do none of this he did it

nikkas need to :camby: with the excuses for Lawrence. The nikka 30,not 21.Don't matter how long you been in a relationship you don't become unaware about how your actions effect women. The nikka hasn't been in a bubble. He knew exactly what he was doing. His boy knew he was doing.Thats why he made the comment about how Lawrence had the game figured out by smashing and staying at Tasha crib on the weekends and gave him the :smugbiden: but Lawrence tried to act like he wasn't like that.

:camby: He feels more comfortable around IT cacs that laugh at his idea for an app and eats crickets than at a black cookout

Damn... ya'll know this is just a tv show right? :gucci: That's not a real principal :dame: some of ya'll are getting worked up like this is real life lmao

For what it's worth, that white girl doesn't give a fukk about those kids. If you think she does, you're playing yourself. Yeah, the principal is problematic, but not because he won't invite the hispanic kids to their lil after school program... hell that's THEIR job. He's problematic because he's a principal with anti-hispanic views in a majority hispanic school. You don't here Jenny saying shyt about that. All she's bytching about is who comes to their program. When her and Issa tried to get hispanic kids to come they failed and were getting finessed. She's mad because Issa established a connection that's improved attendance and she can't. She's a white girl without a network to pull to her advantage and it's making her uncomfortable
