Yeah summer league means next to nothing. Hes an end of the bench guy at best. Sorry but those guys dont interest me. At least gerald could get you buckets at a vet min. Nader has no plus skills.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Gerald brought back on another minimum deal

Possibly the greatest individual accolade for Bradley was being named All-Defensive first team in 2016. His defense does not need any introduction as he seems to always be guarding the opposing team’s best wing player. His on-ball and off-ball defense have proven to be huge weapons for Brad Stevens.

Unfortunately, Bradley’s steady improvements have made him one of the Celtics most valuable assets heading into the offseason. First, he is signed to a team-friendly contract, which pays him roughly eight million dollars and expires after next season.

We need his experience and his defense. He's the last link to the Big 3.

"Ainge said he has yet to identify the prospect he would select. And, most importantly, he is prepared to sift through all options that come from being in such a prized position. He said “a handful of teams” has already expressed interest in acquiring the No. 1 choice from the Celtics, and those suitors are probably just getting started."

If the Celtics want to compete for championships, though, that’s the level they’ll have to hold themselves accountable to. They need more talent to reach it. Horford is a start, but if there is one takeaway from this year it is this: Al Horford is a very good basketball player, but he isn’t the second best player on a championship caliber team. He might not even be the third best.

His skill set is immense and diverse. It spans both sides of the court, and it drastically increases Boston’s flexibility in style of play. The Celtics best chance at maximizing Horford’s abilities is to surround him with more talent. If Horford is the Celtics rising tide, they need to make sure they have boats big enough to compete with the likes of Cleveland and Golden State.

Brown made all the mental sacrifices on the court and that will always be step one. The number one thing for any incoming rookie is to make sure they first thing his team notices is the work ethic and the commitment to being both the best player for his abilities, as well as the most serviceable he can be to a team that has championship aspirations. Even if Fultz is the future of this team, the priority of the team in his first season will not be his individual development, it will be finding out how to use him to put them in the best possible position to win.

Brown also sacrificed his minutes any time he needed. to. There will always be some sort of rookie wall. These young players will inevitably struggle at some point and Brown realized that if he is struggling he will have to sacrifice minutes. The key is always how they respond to losing those minutes.

Olynyk was a bargain for the Celtics at $3 million in 2016-17. Anything above $8 million for a player who cannot assist the team in a severe area of need, rebounding, is unjustifiable. Especially for a team that is expecting to compete for marquee free agents such as Gordon Hayward and Blake Griffin as the free agency sweepstakes begin. If Olynyk wishes to take a pay cut in order to remain with the only head coach he has ever played for, Brad Stevens, then general manager Danny Ainge could be coaxed into retaining him solely due to Stevens’ liking for the seven-footer.

Time For Celtics To Move On From Kelly Olynyk

I want the draft to get hear already. I've psyched myself up in getting Markelle that I will be disappointed if we don't get him. Or if we trade the pic for a veteran I'll be even more disappointed.
