I mean he is trash when he’s asked to play a bigger role than he’s suited for. He tends to fall off a cliff offensively when it comes to the playoffs.

He’s in a perfect situation with the Celtics and I’m sure he’s okay with that at this point.

Sounds like goalpost moving babble

No one gave this context when shytting on Jrue Holiday for being "Playoff Jrue"

Pacers and Wolves winning Game 7's just to get competitively swept and potentially competitively swept.

The series was over after game 1. When Pacers blew that game it fukked up their psychology the next time they had a close game by the end of 4th quarter.

Mazzulla gets criticism sometimes for not calling a time out, but Rick looked far worse at that. Just bonehead coaching with bonehead players.

Celtics need to show more than what they showed so far, if they want to win a championship. Good thing the Pacers made them try hard in 4th quarter so when the Dallas series comes up, they should be capable of exchanging some clutch plays between both teams.

This was the worst eastern conference playoffs since maybe 2007. That one I remember fukking Chris Bosh Raptors were 3rd in the east lol They still had that dumb format where division winner finished higher than some teams from other divisions with better win record.

The Shaq and Wade Heat got swept by Chicago Bulls dammit. Three teams got swept in 1st round.

And just like now, the 2007 was also considered a year with parity where several teams had a chance to win. Problem is parity doesn't automatically guarantee you exciting playoffs. Some team eventually blows their opportunity and we still end up with lopsided series. There is always gonna be a sweep or two every year. It sucks when that happens later than 1st round.

It’s not goalpost moving at all. Look at his playoff numbers offensively and you’ll see it for yourself.

He was asked to player a bigger role offensively in Milwaukee that he wasn’t suited for due to Middleton being injured. He’s not built to be a #2 option like Milwaukee was asking him to do.

Some of his have been saying this about Jrue for a long while now even before this current playoff run.

We’re not going to sit here and let this playoff run act like the narrative wasn’t out there beforehand because we can easily pull receipts and show it.

Celtics were at full strength?

Let me remind you.

He’s at best the 3rd best player on the team. Some nights 4th when White is cooking.

Props to the Celtics for getting the job done, but this has to be the least impressive 12-2 March to the Finals in history. Every team they played was missing their best player for half the games the Celtics won, if not all of them in the case of the first round. Easily could’ve been down 3-1 in the ECF if not for the Pacers being retarded and JAYLEN (not Jayson) coming to bail them out on multiple occasions.

Having said that, if they win the finals no one will care and that’s all that matters

I called the sweep after Game 1 also. Impossible to comeback from such a demoralizing loss. They were immature and poorly coached. They’ve got a nice young core and will hopefully learn from the experience.

i could live with one or the other but this combination showed its head way too many times in this series

Pascal getting beat and then putting hands on people that are laying it in for the easiest And1's to exist
Hali all playoffs driving for a lay and dishing
Myles not going for rebounds, not having much if any of a back to basket game to exploit matchups
Carlisle putting timeouts on layaways and not telling people to foul
Nesmith showing heart by shooting but missing a ton of threes

I dont wanna say the window is open for the Pacers because they got through two teams that weren't at 100% and that might not happen again in the playoffs, but they got an opportunity to build on a good run

somebody needs to lock Hali in a closet and show him Shaun Livingston highlights nonstop
lock Myles in a gym and teach him to back down smaller defenders
Pascal...aight Pascal hooped a lot but someone get that man a playbook so that they aren't just calling isos for him
wish there was a UFA out there that Pacers could throw money at for some vet leadership

There's no "run" coming for the Pacers. They don't have "next". Like I said earlier, they remind me of the Trae Young Hawks. Made it to the ECF one year on a magical run and have been plagued by awful defense and roster shortcomings since.

Haliburton and Nembhard might be the worst backcourt in the league defensively. When things tighten up in the playoffs you can't rely on those shinny regular season offensive numbers.

Life comes at you fast. There's no way the Pacers could have imagined this time last week they were up 3 with the ball 8 seconds left in game 1 that one week later their season would be over and they'd get swept.

One of the more spectacular mental collapses I've ever seen in sport
