"Since Crowder and Horford shifted over to power forward and center, Boston has scored an impossible 123.4 points per 100 possessions with the duo on the court, according to NBA.com. The sample size is tiny (155 minutes), but that's still more than three full regulation games of the Celtics achieving full mutilation of their competitors. They are shooting more 3-pointers than anybody in the playoffs, making more 3-pointers than anybody in the playoffs, and enjoying the spoils of their altered formula."

"During the playoffs, he is averaging 16.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 7.0 assists while shooting 62.7 percent from the field, including 50.0 percent from behind the arc. Most players to average those marks for a full postseason are legendary. "

Al Horford, Boston Celtics benefit from new formula again in Game 1 :Isaiah:

He might not even be in the rotation in this series going forward tho...

Sounds like smart is starting and Jaylen brown earned playing time in game 2

Smart starting is the best move. So he can guard Wall and AB can guard Beal.

Plus with Morris getting hurt it makes it a lot easier to just hide IT on Oubre or Bogdanovic

Yeah I like those matchups Gerald came through last series he just isn't good fit in this series at the moment no shame in that. Amir needs to give us something eventually though he's been dreadful on both ends I got more faith in crummy Jerebko at this point

"I just decided to take myself out. Things were going wrong and I was making a couple mistakes," Smart said. "Everyone else was playing good, so I decided to take myself out and let those guys keep going, and really calm myself down and get ready to go back into the game to finish the game."

Celtics' Smart took himself out after errors

I'm ready for Marcus to start :takedat:
