Carmelo Anthony Granted Permission To Meet With Rockets, Heat

Carmelo Anthony was granted permission by the Oklahoma City Thunder to meet with prospective teams interested in signing him if he becomes a free agent.

Anthony and the Thunder are working towards a buyout though he could also be traded and waived thereafter. Anthony would have to approve the trade.

Anthony reportedly has met with the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat

The thing is in Miami they are going to ask Melo to do two things he was never fond of doing his whole career: play defense and get in shape. That's why I am not getting my hopes up.
