the problem with us is if we not careful we can be bested by some clown ass teams like detroit and chicago smh

we gotta find a way to tweak the roster a lil or we gonna get embarrassed a lot

Or

we could be tankwave but i dont remember if we control our 2019 picks i cant keep up with that fukk shyt

The heat have their 2019 and 2020 picks.

Tankwave might make a return. :mjlit:

Because he can and will opt out of his final year making him an unrestricted FA in 2019. We could also unload one of those bad 4 year deals (waiters, johnson, olynyk) in the process

I also think we could get a 3rd team involved since cleveland isn’t necessarily looking for picks, they just want to unload salary and tank.

I’d give up Winslow right now if it meant moving one of those bad contracts.

Obviously, the Heat won’t do anything productive this year. I’m just throwing out ideas :mjcry:
bruh, think about what you're saying. you're saying cleveland wants to unload salary. they have to take back matching salaries in a trade. we're both over the cap. and all of the guys you mentioned would have deals going longer than love's current one. also, what in the world makes you sure that love would opt out of his last year? he's owed 25 million that year. in 2 years, he's not getting offered anything close to that amount again. he'll absolutely opt in, unless he's miserable.

That’s why I said get a THIRD team involved. The cavs would be willing to take back half of that salary if it meant securing a losing season and getting a conditional pick from the third team

I think a 30 year old Kevin Love would have a pretty competitive market in free agency. Even if he does opt in, that’s potentially 85 million coming off the books in 2020 if we can move one of those 4 year deals I mentioned earlier

It’s not impossible to move these contracts. Especially if “no one is safe”. Bam, Richardson, and Winslow are not untouchable imo.
