Tank, Tank, Tank! but we will probably be top 5 in the east.
:scust:
You're right. :sadcam:
Toronto, Boston, Philly, and Indiana are the only teams clearly better than us. If healthy, we got the 5th seed. Hopefully, Whiteside becomes attractive enough for the Bucks and Dragic becomes attractive for NO (Holiday was better with Rondo running point) or someone else out West.

I still dont see why some of you want MElo. Probably te same mofos that's gonna complain about Winslow not getting enough PT and touches when Melo swallows up the PT and shots left at the SF/PF spot since it's a contract year for him

Because he got one year left on his contract. People want to trade big money guys with 2 years (Whiteside and TJ) left so we can be active in free agency next year. Problem: OKC has no incentive to make that deal. BUT IF THEY DID: Trade Whiteside for Melo and buyout TJ and go after Jimmy :banderas:

I'm no cap expert but that doesn't sound right.

Someone explain this to me please: Why would OKC take on WhiteSide's and/or TJ's contract when they are trying to avoid the repeater tax that's gonna cost them over 100K? Wouldn't that put them in an even worse situation? Their only reason for wanting to get rid of Melo IS to avoid the tax

They want to get rid of Melo bc he’s not good anymore and refuses to come off the bench. They knew they would be in tax hell when they traded for him and did it anyway bc they wanted to resign Westbrook

Trading whiteside and tj for Melo isn’t even allowable bc the salaries don’t match.

Trading tj and Richardson or possibly James Johnson and Waiters would have been more realistic
