How the fukk is that hope? We're both locked into trash contracts for the next 2-3 years. The Raptors spent more and got further in the playoff success but are still 2+ years off from doing anything but being pretenders.

"Supposedly, competitive playoff teams, has 2-3 years of cap hell on it's books, just got exposed in the playoffs could apply to both teams so how much better off are we than them?

If you wanna talk hope, throw out some trade ideas or talk about young player development, not our payroll relative to our playoff success

Watching Boston just makes me more pissed that we lost to the Sixers. Boston dont even got their 2 best players. but because they have a REAL coach, they were able to easily handle that inexperienced Sixers team. With how much talent and depth we have, there's no reason we shouldn't still be in the playoffs. You give Stevens our team and we are going to the finals. No doubt about it. We have everything. Scorers, shooters, size, defense, heart......we had EVERYTHING needed to be in the the ECF. shyt is just pathetic. It's officially fukk riley if he dont get rid of this fakkit.

It feels like we don’t even begin possessions inside the arc at any point. I’ve been hate-watching the team basically since 2014-15 began with how bad our offense always looks and manages to make everyone look mediocre. There’s no justification to employ Spo any longer and I agree fully that if Pat wants to stand by him, then he needs to go too. I’ve only watched one coach this postseason look as clueless as him.
You think so? You think the end result would've been different with a new coach? I feel like the ideologies don't go together. On one hand some users feel like we lost because we gave big contracts to less talented borderline all stars and role players(Whiteside, Dragon, TJ etc) but on the other hand, some users feel that we lost because of spo, and another coach wouldve taken our Heat team with a lack of a superstar to all the way to the finals. Those two ideas conflict. Is it the talent? The front office? Or the coach?

Its funny too because a lot of Heat fans are honestly front runners, they dont have the guts to stick around for a process type rebuild.
Which is why I asked if heat fans are really prepared for this tankwave life.

:usure:

Do we have the patience to trust the process?

:lupe:

Personally I do. I wanna see Miami pile on draft picks and I wanna see what this organization can do with young talent. The heat aren't the dolphins, they deserve at least a little benefit of the doubt.

But I understand why Alot of folks aren't tankwave. If done horribly we can become the dolphins.

:whoa:

It obviously went over your head why I pointed out the contracts, but keep talking. You know I got the drop on you.

100%

You give us brad Steven's and we're going to the finals. None of these teams in the east are anything special. That's why the Cavs barely squeaked by the Pacers. We have all the tools to beat any team in the east right now. We just have an incompetent coach who has no idea how to utilize the talents of our players.

Everybody on our team just runs around the court like chickens with their heads cut off because they arent allowed to play to their strengths.

We have one of the most gifted shot blockers in nba history on our team, but our coach told him to stop blocking shots. Hassan stopped chasing blocks and improved his offensive game to the point he was becoming an automatic 20 and 10 guy every night. Then our genius head coach told him to stop shooting and set screens all game. Now Hassan is joakim Noah 2.0.

We have versatile guys like justise and James Johnson who can play 1 through 4, but they just wander around the court looking clueless because they have no defined role. You sometimes forget they're even on the floor.

We got one of the best shooters in the game in wayne Ellington but our coach has no idea how to get him open looks. Our offense is such a clusterfukk that he can barely get a clear shot off.

We got Dragic who's one of the best scoring point guards in the league who routinely goes on 3-4 game stretches where he's non existent.

J rich who's one of the best young two way players in the game. Dude could be on his way to stardom but with spoelstra I doubt he ever makes that leap. Dude will never be anything more than a 15ppg scorer in this shytty ass system.

This whole team is versatile as fukk. Most coaches would love to have this type of roster. We got a solid mix of young guys and tough nosed vets. Scorers. Guys who can stretch the floor. Shooters. Size. Shot blockers. We got it all.

We just have a coach who has no idea how to get them all to work together in a cohesive system. And it's been this way since the lebron days. No ball movement. 3rd quarter slumps. Late game choke jobs. As long as spo is coaching this team, it will never end. We can get khawi, we can get PG. We can get any star out there. It will mean nothing because spo won't have any idea what to do with them. If this moron could barely win with bron, wade, and Bosh. We have no chance to win no matter who we get. I have no idea how anybody could defend this clown anymore. It's clear as day that he's the biggest problem on this team. He's not the only problem, but he's definitely the biggest. And as long as he's the coach, we won't ever win another title again.

This is a really interesting perspective. I just don't see which coaches win more than the winning Miami did in the Big3 era. Brad Stevens is a great coach, but he's in Boston, period....

I mean, we see coaches with more talent than this heat team choking it away every year in the playoffs. Everyteam Miami lost to in the playoffs since LeBron absence and even when LeBron was here, were all favorites to win and had better records than Miami. Except Dallas in 2011.

Look at Dwane Casey in Toronto, Terry Stots in Portland, D'Antoni lost the other night when they should be on their way to a 2-0 series lead. Doc Rivers underachieved with Lob City. I mean, there are MANY coaches who do worse with more talent than Spo. You think Miami is more talented than any of those teams? The few coaches that are heads and shoulders better than Spo are already locked in to their franchises. I just think Heat nation is spoiled rotten. We see other teams with their shiny new toys and don't appreciate what we've received so far. Just gotta ride the storm until we can lure Popovich from San Antonio or until Chris Quinn gets the promotion to head coach.

Live your own life
Celtics beat the 76ers twice :picard:

They don't even have Kyrie or Hayward :picard:

These same 76ers made us look completely outmatched and out-talented, unable to keep up with their offense and defense is getting exposed by Rozier and Tatum :mjcry:
We were not outmatched by Sixer's talent. We lost this serious because of bad coaching. Pat's darling marginalized Whiteside into a bench warmer. And the historic 3rd quarter meltdown didn't help either.

Lure Popovich? Why would he come to Miami?

Clearly heat nation is split on who the blame should go to.

That's my point. Who should we hire in placd of Spo?
Idk. Nobody in here who's on the Fire Spo wave can't name 1 person. The only name they brought up was Fizdale and that was because he was the only name they knew
