Is there any one super hero more popular than Spider-Man at this point?

this is exactly why i said i guess people are just talking about movies. (i don't want to get into it here) but as bad and repetitive as i think the spiderman/batman movies are, superman has been given dogshyt to work with in movies. But as a whole in society superman is still the most popular hero. I don't know how this is even a question.
This is just old thinking. He no longer is the super hero starter kit. I got kids they know Spider-Man, Batman and a couple other random Marvel characters they don't know Supes and he rarely comes up randomly in media.

What have you offered but anecdotes? Superman is 5th as of April 2021 Google searches. He's an afterthought in 2021

I had Hulk tied with Wolverine as the fourth hero on the superhero Mount Rushmore behind Spider-Man, Superman, and Batman. I think in the last ten years thanks to the MCU, Iron Man has probably replaced Hulk/Wolverine.
Movie wise? Yes but No one is bigger than Spider man and the X Men in Marvel. Avengers been on a run since 2004 really...the movies helped Iron Man in 08 but the X Men kicked everybody's ass from 1975-the early 2010. Kicked Batman out the top spot. Buried Superman. Spider Man was the only other equal.

Yeah, once disney gets their hands on x-men its a wrap. X Men have always been more popular, fox movies just ran it into the ground just like sony was doing with spider-man.

Point of order. X-men were only more popular or just as popular for a brief moment in the 90s. That’s it. Spider-Man is and was the golden goose since the 60s

I mean that X-men were more popular than the avengers. From 80’s since the Chris Claremont run. Some of the individual avengers were popular due to tv and movies but as a whole they weren’t fukking with X-men from like 81 until the early 00’s until Civil War took place in the comics. Ironman himself was almost a non-entity when his movie came out, outside of a handful of games and the short lived cartoon

The x-men are still more popular in comics, they just don’t have big movie tie ins right now
