It also has an upgraded cpu which allows it to play “next gen” games at 60fps where the one x wouldn’t be able to.
They saved money on the GPU because lots of people aren’t using or don’t care about 4K.
But it is a much more capable machine than the one x.
thats what im saying it was just an upgrade of that
which is smart because they still would have moved that
its like having Iphone XR but then copping the 11 ... where the xbox series x would be Iphone 13
its just a buffed option of what already was out
most companies would just keep selling you XB1X and say fukk it, so in that regard its kind of dope if thats all you need
you gave a good example when you said everything has options
you cant really lose money or worry when you were basically selling the same exact product since 2018.. all they did was update the specs and price it to be a viable option
technically like you said it makes sense to buff the frames and drive... but nerf the quality of display a little... because like "options"... you can just get the native 4k one if you were serious about it... which is smart to offer both. It would make no sense to leave it just XB1X and XBSX because then it wouldnt be justified to cop the 1X. They tuned it and split the difference between features, which is super intuitive
nintendo is lowkey worse because they developed a new switch mini and/or threw OLED on, to me thats more work than just changing a processor and drive. Sony did it laziest by just taking the drive out and calling it a day
but all 3 options are still dope to have really. Sony and Microsoft didnt really change much to make options, where nintendo changed a bunch of shyt... they might as well have upgraded their whole shyt at that point.
