You've got Legroupies laughing at KD and Giannis when they really need to be worried about Steph possibly winning another chip in Lebron's era.

That will be yet another one of Bron's peers who has more finals wins than losses in the "Lebron James era"

Narrative could easily become that Lebron's era was really the Steph Curry era and that Bron was a passenger in it.

I think in a few years, people will say Lebron's core era was from 2010 to 2014 as that was the time frame where he was in his peak prime years, and his team was head and shoulders above everyone else. The fact Miami only won two instead of four is a failure. They should've at least three peated. From 2015 to 2019, it was really Steph's league. He changed the way the game was played. He won more rings. His team dominated, was much watch TV like the Heat were in the early 2010s and they broke the win record. At this point, Bron was kinda the veteran that was still around and was able to steal a ring one year. Then again in the bubble. Without Steph, Bron would've seriously won most years from 2015 to 2019. He would've easily surpassed Jordan and there would be no argument against him. Steph really fukked his sh*t up :russ:

So Steph's rings are tainted because he teamed with KD?

Yet if Bron had won 3 straight with K-Love and Kyrie with the cavs or won a couple of rings with AD and Kawhi (his original LA plan) they wouldn't be tainted and he would still be the GOAT right?

Legroupies y'all :mjlol:

Wait, did you just imagine in your head how Bron fans would have reacted to an imagined situation that never happened and then insist that THAT is what constitutes hypocrisy? :pachaha:

Since I'm on record saying that the 2020 ring didn't meaningfully affect Bron's legacy since it was by far his easiest ring, why would I big-up even easier rings? YOU are the ring-counting dumbasses, not us. I've been consistent on that.

Of course y'all would react like that.

We know this because y'all got mad at KD and Steph for forming a superteam.
But were more than happy for Bron to superteam after superteam after superteam to win chips :mjlol:

Y'all slight KD's and Steph's legacy's because KD joined The Warriors, but y'all then Elevate Bron's legacy even though he specifically created s Superteam to get past Boston to win chips :russ:

In no other sport do we make someone the GOAT with a losing record in the chip or chip series

Why are we moving the goalposts for Bron :mindblown:

I guess you live in a reality where Barry Bonds, Willie Mays, and Ted Williams don't exist anymore? I wonder who your GOAT pitcher of the last century is now that Roger Clemons and Pedro Martinez are out of the running.

And no one ever called Wilt the GOAT before? Was Jerry West never the GOAT guard before Magic and MJ arrived on the scene? Was Elgin Baylor never considered the GOAT forward?

No Jim Brown or Barry Sanders, neither has even 1 chip. Guess they ain't the GOAT.

No Maradona either. Crazy that the "Maradona or Pele?" debate has raged for 50 years when all we needed to end it was to show that Maradona has a losing record in World Cups....

You're literally making shyt up. I don't "slight" or "elevate" the legacy of players based on off-court shyt. That's for clowns like you. I rate players based on how they actually play and what they have to do to win. KD winning easy chips doesn't diminish his legacy, but it doesn't significantly enhance it either. Just like Bron's 2020 chip doesn't significantly enhance his legacy. If KD had joined the Warriors, but then multiple players got hurt and KD had to pull a 2012 Bron or 2013 Bron or 2016 Bron performance in order to win the chip against an arguably superior team, then it would have enhanced KD's legacy a ton. I even pointed out that KD's performances against the Bucks last year enhanced his legacy even though he lost because he stepped up against a better team and put up some really strong performances in a tough situation.

Steph is arguably the most influential NBA player we've seen since Jordan. Only other person I could see a case for is AI
Man changed the way the entire league plays

He changed it for the worse. I can't bear to watch every single team chuck low percentage 3 point shots leading to massive blowouts cause they go cold every other game.
But he did change it. Not all influences are good influences unfortunately :sadcam:

Kobe stans dapping this bs when Duncan got the same amount of championships and more finals MVPs and yet nobody calls the 2000s his era :heh:

Baseball is a stats driven game. Definitely an outlier.

Next:sas1:

You claimed "no other sport", then you try to disqualify one of the 2 other biggest sports in the country. :mjlol:

And I gave examples from baseball, football, soccer, AND basketball. So no one considered Maradona the GOAT, ever? No one ever considered Wilt the GOAT? Elgin Baylor was never the GOAT forward and Jerry West was never the GOAT guard? Was Jim Brown not the GOAT running back? Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemons, you're saying none of them ever had a GOAT case?

Using outliers to justify the norm is not standard

ARod won league MVP on an under 500 team. Baseball is different

Is this some sort of jinx? It's still the conference finals, right??

ALSO, Bron is 38 years old. His legacy been cemented before the bubble title. At worst he's top 5. The Bron era existed. That man went to 8 straight finals. Ain't nothing Curry doing affecting that. Everything Steph is doing reflects on Steph climbing up the charts. Steph is only chasing Magic at this point.
