This is a stupid fukking question. There was a time in history where black people were considered 3/5ths of a person and now the President is half black. @Yuffie, the fukk do you think?
This pretty much sums it up. I feel like people are over thinking this question. We used to get LYNCHED for no good reason, have no freedom or basic rights, and sold into slavery.... and people are trying to compare it to today?

I understand where you are coming from. I disagree though. Other than the lynchings, those things were the law back then. They may happen in watered down versions, or maybe not as frequently, but things are not nearly as brutal as they were back then.
