LL didn't want the beef. He was willing to help Canibus develop his career.

Canibus let the "streets" influence him too much. Even though the original record was floating around, LL getting on songs with him would've deaded the whole thing.

It's like they said in that beef clip posted LL would make soft tracks with Boyz II Men to chart and go platinum then on the album get street cats and respected artist for posse cuts. The streets would let him get away with it even if they questioned him at first. Canibus was a speed bump to keep his street cred up. He roasted him so bad on that Ripper Strikes Back. Canibus came at him with facts and truth and LL just straight roasted him.
I've never heard anyone say LL roasted Canibus :comeon:
