In stature? yea. Kevin is only the second comedian to do a show that filled an ARENA.
But in terms of materials??? hell NO.

Hell no bro. He has no classics under his belt. Beverly hills cop, trading places, coming to america, etc. How many of Kevin Hart's movies made over 100 million where he was a main character. Haven't looked up all of em but so far i just see ride along. Kevin hart is social media big. 24 million twitter followers. But trust me, if twitter was around back in the 80s. Eddie would have had a huge huge following

I know most of this board can't stand him, so we're all downplaying him. He's not Eddie's level obviously, but what he is doing is pretty fukking major considering the climate.

I'd argue Kevin is good at what he does, but Eddie is legendary. Let Kev do what he do and stop with the crab in the barrel shyt most of y'all are talking. Anytime a black dude can do what he's doing, let that man eat and put his team on until his star burns out.

I saw his What Now standup show in Dayton last year....was actually pretty damn good. His best after Laugh at my pain and Seriously Funny. nikkaz were told before the show to put their phones away before the show started or they'd be booted, but there's always cats that gotta push the envelope. There were 48 people removed due to pulling out phones during the show

He does play himself every movie though, but I don't mind.

He's the Black Will Ferrell to me and I fukks with it.

I don't think he's as big of a star as Eddie in the 80s, but he's easily Number 2.
