Is Kevin Hart as big of a star as Eddie Murphy was in the 80's?

Not the 90s either.

And that's not all his 90's films/shows

Eddie Murphy has longevity. Kevin Hart is making a lot of stuff but quality > quantity.

God damn does kevin hart even have a movie as good as Life?

no lies were told :russ:

I just never stopped to think about it

from 2013-2015 he's been i the following:

Ride Along 2,
Get Hard,
The Wedding Ringer
,
Top Five,
Think Like a Man Too,

Ride Along
Grudge Match
This Is the End

yeah, i can't hate on his work ethic at all, bruh puts in his fair share of work but at the same time, the quality of his work has me like :comeon: but he just seems to go for the easy buck without havin' much at all to add to his roles and films for what i see. it's like the integrity for the art and love for the craft is long gone because instead of actually takin' the time to put out some movies with some comedic quality, they just shyttin' out bullshyt every chance they get. that muthafukka will prolly have a trilogy of the movie ride along and think like a man so long as the money is right

i say the same for seth rogen too. he stay puttin' out bullshyt ass movies over and over again. he got a "neighbors 2" comin' out this year and that's 1 muthafukka who always plays himself in every fukkin' movie :martin:

Life is one of those under appreciated films. Movie was good in general. Martin and Eddie had great chemistry and all the supporting actors played their roles well.

It's a real gem.

And this song :whew:

90's music. :wow:

This is almost as silly as that thread about Chris fukking Brown being as talented as Michael Jackson

Just an excellent movie. I remember seeing it in the theater. We ERUPTED at the ending :banderas: A couple of people actually cried man.

 Movie was really well made.

For some reason people don't talk about it about it like that. Only thing people seem to remember is the cornbread scene but the movie was so quotable.

Not gonna lie, I was expecting a full on comedy and it did have it's hilarious moments but it was a lot more heart felt than I ever expected.

This goes to prove how much we need shows like Comic View and the like. Where's the new generation of black comedians?

But to answer the question, no.
They're out there, working the clubs. I go to my local improv all the time to see acts. They're making their way online as opposed to TV shows
