Wherever nikkas need to be told on
This spurs team gotta be the worst team in the history of the franchise. Like all-time garbage. They just dont play hard, and they dont play for 48 mins. They've blown double digit leads in 6 of their 9 losses. They play well enough to get 17, 18, 20+ point leads, but also play badly enough to reliably blow those leads. It literally happened against the Kings on Friday night. They had an 18 point lead --> blew it --> put themselves in a 20pt hole --> played well to take back the lead, coming back from 20 down --> then blew the game. It's just really frustrating, unfocused ball

even their 2nd win against the Suns, they blew a 27 point lead
Feels like such a casual take like you don’t have teams across the league blow 20-point leads everyday

Wemby is already better than I thought he'd be this year. He was absolutely worth the hype. I wanted to hold the Spurs' bad start against him, but the rest of his team is fukking horrible when he's on the bench so I can't blame that on him.

I still think he has holes in his game (no consistent reliable go-to move yet even though he's 7'4"), but he's legit for sure.

Spurs have the 2nd-worst defense in the league and are giving up an offensive rating of 117.7 when Wemby is on the court....but it's 125.6 when Wemby is off the court. So you can't really blame him for that.

Their offense is terrible too, and it's even worse when he's on the court than when he's off. But that could be his teammates not understanding how to use him yet more than evidence of his own deficiencies.

Yup the team is horrible. Outside of Wemby I don't see another person on that roster who would play more than 20mpg on any good team.

So there was a 58 point swing in the game? Up 18 to down 20 and then retook the lead? That’s a fukking crazy high variance. Is it the 3 pointers or teams really getting that hot and cold? Like how is there even enough time in the game to see that kind of variance.

I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
I actually think he needs this. Not being the on the front page every week will help him focus more on his game. He needs to adapt to the NBA and that's gonna take time. He already has a good BB IQ.

SN; Chet would have easily win ROTY last year. He's a class above Banchero

Shai is a fukking superstar, why do wins led by him get credited to Chet? :dead:

Are you that guy who voted Walker Kessler for MVP last year? :skip:

yea im sure chet averaging 17/8 with 2 blocks and 1 steal have absolutely nothing to do with the wins

:comeon:

not to mention his %s are way better than Wemby who's shooting like a bigger Jordan Poole

No one said that.

But why are you assuming that they'd be worse with Wemby?

That wasn't the claim made though.

Someone who clearly did not watch the GSW game last night to know that it was because the Warriors had no answer for CHET, especially the game buzzer-beating tie to send it to overtime was the reason WHY OKC won. And that's despite SGA scoring 40 himself.

This is crazy. He is about where he should be 10 games into his career.
A matter of fact, he's already great defensively.
