I dont think the advancement of my people is dependent on last name traditions. its millions of people who followed that tradition and their families are a failure and there are those who didnt who raise strong black families.

If the people who follow a tradition have no real understanding on why to follow it and why others like them should do the same...of course it wont be of help to build strong black families or a strong culture.
