Is Gohan the most disappointing character in anime history?

Ichigo at the end of Bleach is a great challenger...
Gohan is just bad. Every time he has a power up, he got trashed.
Against Cell, he let Goku die and need daddy's support to finish Cell
Against Buu, he could not finish him before he ate Gotenks and didn't even notice anything.

I will not speak about DBS for decency.

Vegeta managed to dust this man with nobody helping, had this dude crying while getting stomped into the ground.

It took like 3 extra nikkas to fukk him up but let these boys tell it, Goku solo'd the man.

Yeah I see where youre coming from, but DBZ was the first of its kind from that shonen lane...they built up Goku to such a degree that it was too late to pull back. Other shows got the opportunity to learn like OP and to some degree Bleach
