The dikk riding of Rose on this site is insane to compare him to other HOF players like reggie, chris mullen, Yao. Yes Rose has an MVP and ROY but other than that he doesnt have much. 3 good seasons, 1 mvp and 1 all nba selection same yr and 3 all star appearances. In my opinion that isn’t enough. Career numbers he has less than 10k points, less than 3k assists, less than 500 steals, less than 2000 rebounds.

He was an HOF caliber player but unfortunately the injuries derailed him and the numbers just arent there.

Yao didn’t have 7 years of top play as a center. Everyone knows he didn’t really deserve to be an all star in each of those 7 seasons. He didn’t average 20ppg or 10rpg until his 4th season.

I said 20 OR 10. And actually, 20 and 10 has pretty much been the standard for great big men. Let’s be real, the reason Yao had such a huge impact is because he’s 7’6”. He was the first, and there hasn’t been a “Yao” since that came close to that type of impact. Yeah, he dominated the Chinese league before he came over. Jimmer Fredette is also dominating. Did Yao even win any medals in international play? No.
