I think he will be the first NBA MVP who won't make it....Especially if he retires now....Only way I see him making it is if someone decides to pretty much let him in off of the strength of his first 4 seasons.
I would think you’re all nba if you’re the mvphe was only All-NBA once??
I said 20 OR 10. And actually, 20 and 10 has pretty much been the standard for great big men. Let’s be real, the reason Yao had such a huge impact is because he’s 7’6”. He was the first, and there hasn’t been a “Yao” since that came close to that type of impact. Yeah, he dominated the Chinese league before he came over. Jimmer Fredette is also dominating. Did Yao even win any medals in international play? No.
man that NBA threshold is fukking invisible lol. Draymond might get in at this pointIf Chris-fukkin-Mullin is in the HOF damn near everyone should be inducted smh
this might be a more worthwhile thread topic on its ownHe deserves it more than McGrady did.
the issue w this logic is that you basically putting him in off one season. At least most of these other questionable options got in off off good play over a few seasons. Rose has some other respectable seasons, but everyone in here seems to use that one MVP year as the stepping stone. But at the same time, you can make a pretty easy argument he hasnt been a top 5 PG in the span of time since. Maybe not top 7 or 8 even.Of course he is yall don't understand, look at some of the other guys in the NBA HoF and tell me DRose shouldn't make it
How are we gonna leave the youngest MVP in history out of the HoF
If T-Mac got in, why wouldn’t Rose?
He deserves it more than McGrady did.
He really has only one all-nba selection? That's hard to believe....Basketball hall of fame is very very low threshold.
That said u need 6 all stars and 3 all NBA teams maybe 15 to 18k thousand points and a top 5 mvp finish.
He has 3 all stars, one all NBA, and one mvp award so no he won't make it
