For me, I base hall of fame on one thing: Whether or not the general consensus is that said player has a legit argument as the best at his position for a sustained period of time, i.e. 3-5 years.
D-Rose has an MVP, but I never thought he was the BEST point guard in the game. He was to watch in his prime, but that was due to what he could do as an athlete/slasher. Russell Westbrook is basically Derrick Rose assuming Rose never gets hurt.
