Dude literally watched the bullshyt that occurred in this country for the past century. As a white liberal pacifistic atheist ... how could you not be upset? Yeah, comedy is all fun and jokes, but ... he also did a lot of political commentary in his later years. That shyt could be mad depressing if you really look at it...
LOL @ political commentary. All that dude did was shyt on religion and use his "white guilt" as a tool to get laughs....every standup routine he'd say the same shyt over and over again. The only people who would really find Carlin funny are people who share his worldview, I don't see why he should get props for that. A comedian should be funny regardless of who his audience is...I don't need a comedian to preach to me for an hour and a half

Chris Rock was being rather CONDESCENDING and also LYING TO HIMSELF....
Because we all know Chris Rock got hired at SNL because he was thier "new TOKEN NEGRO" once Garret Morris and Eddie Murphy had already moved on to other ventures.....
and all his movie roles in the early part of his career were EXCLUSIVELY URBAN......
he was fortunate to have WHITE FOLKS crossover to him after his HBO SPECIALS but still for the most part to many white fans of comedy ...
he is still a BLACK COMEDIAN....and that term itself defines SITUATIONAL...
