Restaurant threads on the coli are one of the few guaranteed to be funny reads. My personal favorite is that Houston restaurant thread about rachets dancing on top of tables from last year that had the coli dividedI remember the thread about steak 48 asking for $100 per head minimum and people went crazy on here then it became a pissing contest on who’s been to the most expensive places.
Top 10 funniest thread I’ve read on here
I have a problem in Papi Steak in Vegas my shyt was $512. I sobered up QUICK.
Under $300 probably isn’t high end. That’s like Ruth Chris…
There is a big difference between that and a place like Ever in Chicago
Not saying I eat at Michelin star places but there are levels to it.
Exactly i don't like wasting money on exotic trips either. We got beaches at home.
When i spend money i like purchasing a tangible asset.
Here's some spots, made a list of the Michelin starred placed I'd been to in the last 10 years or so, since 2014, is when I really got into it, tasting menu with 20 courses, omakase sushi, all a lot of fun. as far as actually going on dates to these spots? That can be a headache, gets very expensive, like $1500, and unless you have a serious girlfriend, hard to get someone to commit to the reservation, and show up. a lot are pre paid. for dates, stick to the places just below Michelin lol unless they are serious into food. also, some you have to go right when they open, or with 3 years or they fall off.

I’m engaged but a wise man taught me:
“Never stop taking out your wife to fancy restaurants. It gives her chance to dress up, feel special but most importantly, give you both personal time together. The moment you stop taking her out to dinner, another man will. ”
That advice never left me.
