One spot I was at, the waiter asked if we wanted to try "truffle butter" with our steak.. I was like
not about to rob me mf foh, but my date was like sure I'll try it.. I tablespoon of "truffle butter" $15 added to the bill...Top notch food and atmosphere tho
And of course I got top notch head and cheeks when we got home

Used to go to those places all the time.. but after covid shut things down and saw how much was $aving.. 
I’m engaged but a wise man taught me:
“Never stop taking out your wife to fancy restaurants. It gives her chance to dress up, feel special but most importantly, give you both personal time together. The moment you stop taking her out to dinner, another man will.”
That advice never left me.

I hate dealing with people that like to waste money on nontangible stuff.
If i'm going to spend a bunch of money, i want to own something afterwards. Something i can enjoy for long time.
Not something i burn through in one seating and now it no longer exists.

High end dinner spots/michelin restaurants, are pretentious as fukk and the waiters act snooty as hell.
The food is good, the portions are garbage & it just feels like a big song and dance over getting some food.

Exactly i don't like wasting money on exotic trips either. We got beaches at home.You don't own a piece of Hawaii when you take a trip there
