Is anybody else addicted to high end dinner dates?

I have a problem in Papi Steak in Vegas my shyt was $512. I sobered up QUICK.

The most expensive restaurant in NYC runs at about $400 per person.

That’s a very nice meal but if I’m at harlo, nobu, or robuchon that’s the per person price

Do you have to spend $400?


I think for most folks, $250 - $300 is enough for a nice time.

I hate dealing with people that like to waste money on nontangible stuff.
If i'm going to spend a bunch of money, i want to own something afterwards. Something i can enjoy for long time.
Not something i burn through in one seating and now it no longer exists.

Any Chicago brehs on here been to Maple & Ash? They got one out here in Scottsdale and that's my spot. That roasted seafood tower. I gotta hit one of the Chi ones one day just to see if it's better since they're the OG locations.

I went to STK in Atlanta. Place was cool. It wasn’t white table cloth though.

Bill was nearly $300.

Service was ehh but the food was fire. Had a cut called ribeye spinalis.

And some women be ordering shyt without a care in the world to how much it costs.. slice of pie, add another $20 to the bill, another glass of wine add another $30...

One spot I was at, the waiter asked if we wanted to try "truffle butter" with our steak.. I was like not about to rob me mf foh, but my date was like sure I'll try it.. I tablespoon of "truffle butter" $15 added to the bill...

Top notch food and atmosphere tho

And of course I got top notch head and cheeks when we got home

It's something about trying new restaurants that are fancy and exclusive. Hard to book a reservation type places... That shyt is so dope


The kind of place that doesn't have the prices on the menu.. The meats don't "come with two sides"... and the sides are $20 minimum. Bowl of mash potatoes $22 type shyt.


Tell the waiter bring the check and be sitting there like God please let it be under $300

I did that way too much last year and the beginning of this . At least I got my dikk hella wet but fukk if my pockets haven't been hurting.
