Not true at all....Members Only, London Fog, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Izod, Lacoste, Benetton.....etc....
The 90's were much less materialstic than today. Today is more like the 80's in terms of excess in fashion.

In the 90's, all the East Coast rappers representing the streets wore standard issue military fatigues and Timbs. The West Coast rappers wore Pendleton flannels, dikkies, Chucks and Nike Cortez.

All inexpensive. Nowadays, people only care about how much shyt cost and if it's "designer" or hyped up. Yeah, you had a Versace silk shirt trend in the 90's. As well as certain high dollar shyt like Coogi sweaters, Avirex and Pelle Pelle leathers.

But shyt was not like how it is now where even old ass white men have sneakers worth thousands and anyone can buy and wear anything.

Back in the 90's, you had to be cut from a certain cloth to even wear certain shyt or someone was taking that shyt off you. I seen a geek ass 20 year old bowl cut wearing cac rocking a vintage 8 ball leather the other day. He would have been robbed immediately of that shyt in 91'.

Nah a lot of 90s fits are wack. How do I know? Wear that shyt today and look how goofy you’ll look. Girls can get away with some of the fits though

That shyt is all cheap

The materialism today is peak level

That’s regular shyt and they used to rap about driving Lexuses and Acuras

Today’s black brands all charge a grip Off-White, Fear of God, Denim Tears, Barriers, etc.
