If a state of emergency is declared, ie "threat of terrorist attack", cyber attack", Nuclear attack, the President is granted Emergency Powers and republicans control the supreme court, so there is a lot he will be able to do and can bypass constitutional law with the help of congress
not saying that's what's going to happen but it is not something that's not possible

You've never had this right.
Israel killed this guy to set Iran's nuclear ambitions back a few years. The whole point of Israel doing the deed is to keep America distanced away from it. It's a policy that's been in place and successful for the last few decades. THAT'S why Israel gets their aid. Israel does our dirty work and keeps our military out of an Iranian conflict.
Targeted assassinations of Iranians working towards nuclear proliferation has been fair game for decades and Iran has always accepted that it's just part of the game. Thats why you rarely see them respond with anything besides posturing.

The abuse would have been more consequential had it started already.

you had US generals making public statements that trump is a threat to the constitution, he might not have the balls to do it, but he can push for a power grab if he really is facing certain imprisonment after leaving office
