It would out Biden in a very tough position if war were to break out. If Biden comes in to try end the war the GOP will label him weak and waking the white flag of surrender at Iran while use servicemen are getting killed. If continues the war this would alienate the democratic base which is very anti-war. Not to mention war with Iran would be a disaster economically, militarily and geopolitically as it would spread all across the region with no end in sight.What would be the point of a strike on Iran?

Basically the Ayatollah has had doubts of negotiation with Biden because he states who is to say the president after Biden would even abide to the deal. Also Rouhani is very unpopular which means a hardliner will win the next Iranian presidential elections. The strategy Israel and Trump have is to make it very difficult for Biden to re-enter the deal.
