this show started off great but it flamed out with the bs prolonged storylines.

Massive budget, cool premise and boring as fukk with unlikeable characters. They had to purposely set out to do something this bad. Not Doc Lady probably the best character but they kinda did too much to make her likeable. She basically super woman.

they try to do with aliens, what other do with zombies... but forget to have the aliens be in the shyt

its like,.. cool you wanna make it character driven and whatnot, but we seent 2 aliens for a total of 10 minutes maybe in like 7 episodes... fumble

Yeah there's a way to do slow burn intrigue shyt but this is not it. It coulda worked if it was like, solely focused on the family and every episode was more like the first parts of their story when they had to deal with racism, fighting over resources and not knowing wtf was going on but the jumping around to other stories that just didnt have that tension or were so far removed from shyt ruined that. They're mashing together like 3 different types of shows and each one suffering.
