You are in here talking about spending 400 mil to MAYBE make $75 mill(and still have to pay licensing fees) in a couple years of sales is “printing money”

Sony takes that risk so they can sell consoles. But they know they need to make more money elsewhere hence their investments elsewhere.

They plan to make more money of the same amount of sales for SM3 over 2
Also here is a look at how much they make off each game sale
I remember saying they probably bring in about $40 or so per sale and @Rekkapryde and @Gizmo_Duck told me i was dead wrong.
I can do math. $44 per game sold 15% royalty rate. They gotta sell hella games to make the investment worth it.
As usual in the end, that nikka meach is always right
As a final consolation Sunset Overdrive Made more money than Ratchet and clank.
