To be honest I don't even think it's really that. I think they're just incompetent at politics.

sure you could say maybe 1 or 2 dem's are incompetent... but outside of that nah

they just want to be the opposition power... and get funding.. but not actually have to do anything

Progressives need to stand firm that if no reconciliation is done for the 3.5 trillion bill they will not vote for the bipartisan 1.5 trillion bill. These centrist ain’t shyt

They should toe this because the media spin will be egregious. :francis:

Just a shame with the stars lining up, Dems fukk it up regardless. The party can't keep its elected folk on page. Voting D seems to matter only at a local level.

Dems lost. :wow:

Dems are setting themselves up for an epic wave loss in the midterms.

We’ll probably get filibuster reform in time for the pending Republican super majority in all 3 branches of government.

idk about that

Most of the divisions should really be separate bills:yeshrug:

Shorter bills, with lower costs attached, are far less likely to contain “poison pills”… and I’d suspect easier to get passed.

…it would also show exactly where the lines are being drawn.

Dems do it to themselves.

They only get two reconciliation bills a year and that seems to be the only way to pass anything.

They are gonna lose the House because of voter suppression and gerrymandering. My prediction still stands. GQP gets the House and the Dems expand control of the senate. Basically it will be a re-run of Obama’s first term 2011-2013. Divided government and nothing getting passed. And most importantly Dems won’t make gains in the state legislature front. It’s scary that in 2018 and 2020 with hatred for Trump at an all time high that Dems made little gains at the state legislature front.

Both of them are looking for their next move. Manchin is old but will have his pick of corporate gigs.

Sinema is young and clearly cosplaying as a Senator to get her big payday after 2024 or whenever she leaves the Senate.

Yep... nice cushy job/speaking gigs/whatever waiting for them after their time in office

Unfortunately the GQP can sit back while the dems nitpick each other to death instead of focusing on stamping them out of relevance.

It’s a cadre of centrist Dems sabotaging their President….

Most Dems want to pass the bills…
