I don't think reelecton is even the issue. Sinema's actions are actually hurting her in the polls (and might get her primaried), not helping her.

Exclusive first look: Kyrsten Sinema has dangerously low favorability among Arizona Democrats

As far as Manchin, he's 74 and may not even run again considering his age, and I'm pretty sure that Senate seat is gone when he retires regardless of what he does.

It's hard to see how their actions benefit them politically. My only guesses are either they're corrupt or secret Republicans.
Sinema and Manchin will be lobbyists if they get voted out. They don’t want to piss off their donors on their way out.

That's dumb. Republicans (including Manchin and Sinema) would vote against the bills regardless of how big they are.
I’m sure there are several pieces of the current bill they would support… and something must be better than nothing.
Even to progressives…

They only get two reconciliation bills a year and that seems to be the only way to pass anything.
They recently passed a bipartisan infrastructure bill(1 trillion I believe)… so it can be done. There is some common ground, however small.

… IMO this is really about certain provisions that should be presented and debated on their own rather than sinking needed provisions.

The bipartisan bill is the extent to which you would get 10 republicans… in that case about 17 to vote on something big that’s not a crisis situation

Absolutely not. Their main goal and top priority is to obstruct and make sure Dems have an unsuccessful term.

Republicans are going to vote no to everything just on general principle and if Dems think otherwise they're idiots. It's like people completely forgot Obama's term. :snoop:

How in the hell did you come to that conclusion. Please stick to posting 15 tweets in a row my guy
You keep posting like youre rooting for this to fail and so you can smart mouth again.

Ive posted substantive content on the negotiations. Block me if you’re sick of it.

:mjlol:

you got a lot of your boys in here you need to call out (not so ironically, also including yourself) if you tryna call out people for “wanting something to fail”

Again perhaps it’s best to stick to what your best at, posting long strings of tweets Napoleon style
