'93 is mid-90s.

youre kind of just listing albums. all that stuff wasn't great.
a lot of this stuff isn't even noteworthy like that.

whats so funny about that?

nicca you don't know me.
93 is on the cuff

I didn't say I did.

I didn't dismiss your post. youre the one doing that.
I never said it blew hip-hop out the water. so what exactly are you trying to argue about?

age has nothing to do with it. I prolly had a larger playlist at my disposal than you. whats the point?
obviously you think you know me well enough to say the bolded ,but when I "LOL" you remind me that i dont know you. Hilarious

Dude, Outkast is a DIFFERENT GROUP than they were in 1994.

How are you gonna look at their Wikipedia page in 2017 and try to deduce what they would've been classified as in 1994?

How you gonna compare these guys

To these guys
outkast-by-scott-gries-getty.jpg

:what: ones wiki page doesn't just reflect currently, it covers ones whole entire life/career

In 1994, they were a high-school Eightball & MJG, which would've been considered by some to be gangsta rap.

AS for the Lost Boyz, nobody considered them gangsta rap because they were from New York.

We didn't call New York rappers gangsta rappers back then.

Even Biggie, Wu-Tang, and Naughty By Nature was considered HARDCORE rap.

Gangsta rap = West Coast, South, Midwest hardcore rappers

Hardcore rap = East Coast gangsta rappers

:yeshrug:well by your logic eightball & mjg should be considered gangsta rappers, but under genre they're listed as hip hop, southern hip hop

:hubie: again, i'll say it for the last time... personally i never heard anyone call outkast gangsta rappers - even at the beginning when their music was the hardest

or maybe we're just not cut from the same cloth as people.

that's what it really boils down to.

this is more of a social disagreement, rather than someone "being exposed".

alot of us don't hold any kayfabe entities in high-regard for anything. how hard is that for you dudes to understand?

and youre going in circles, continuously taking my comments out of context.

I already said I was wrong for the black staff comment, like 3 times already. its like yall want me to kiss yall ass over it or something.

and I said that its neither here nor there, because it still doesn't change my stance. the bottom line is that I don't hold any of this chit in high-regard PERIOD regardless of the staff, and neither should you. but hey, that's your prerogative.

the nerve of you telling me to move on. ive been visibly trying to get away from this and the outkast argument for like the past 5 pages.

I don't understand what you mean by social disagreement or not holding entities in high regard - when you wasn't around or should i say was way too young to even understand the source mag during that era

Rap began its slow death in the early 90s when gangsta rap caught on and conscious rap fell off....sure it SOUNDED WAYYYY BETTER than the trash we have today ...but its the same bullshyt messages there are some classic gangsta rap albums but it slowly began killing rap from the inside

Eightball & MJG's Wikipedia page has them listed as a gangsta rap group, breh:francis:

Scroll to the bottom of the page:stopitslime:

8Ball & MJG - Wikipedia

And OUtkast's "Southerplayalisticadillacmusik" is sold in the "Gangsta & Hardcore" section on Amazon

breh, just give it up - u got exposed
take your L & keep it moving

all this back n forth shyt is accomplishing nothing cause u only can resort to moving the goalpost

so, this latest
entities in high regard is nothing more then a diversion of ur asinine statement of 'fukk the source'

da hell cares about what i, what u or what any poster holds
in high regard or not
the fact that u made all these lies & false bullshyt claims about a magazine and its time/era when u had no business too
even your
high regard rhetoric cant save you when you couldnt even read a damn children book neverless an adult magazine

move on, breh, move on :hubie:
