Living at home will and is the new norm. What we are witnessing is an economic system that eating itself and its people.

The elderly are not retiring because they have saved nothing or don’t have enough to retire on thus less jobs available for the young. More people are educated than ever before so the competition for jobs is more ferocious than ever before. Excessive greed has outsourced thousands if not millions of blue and white collar jobs meaning less jobs. All the wealth is now being hoarded by the rich elite whom hardily spent, so these no trickledown effect. And finally the masses, if they want property or land they will have accumulate debt which ensures their servitude until the grave. A new landlord class has arisen which crushed the working class through exorbitant rents. Very few high paying jobs remain and those that remain require a lot of hours thus killing work-life balance. Majority of jobs now are dead end low pay entry levels jobs with VERY little room for advancement. Now in a global economic, American exceptionalism is dead. Most, if not all countries are develop their country without American goods and services, so manufacturing is dead in America, so military enforced trade deal that benefits America can only save the country now, Trump knows this.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg, I could go on for days.

A lot of people are making the decision to stay at home and stack or rather stay at home and not be a slave to the system. The wheels are coming off, we about to enter demographic and economic cliff within our lifetime. Its game over for this system and capitalism.
