IMO living with your parents is totally underrated. Being a "responsible adult" is a fukking scam

Not at all. Been with the same breh I've been with since I got to the Coli. He's about to become an assistant principal and I have a shot at being a librarian next school year, which is my ultimate goal.

And on that note, (n)ignored.
:yeshrug: congrats to both of y'all

librarian will fit your personality perfectly BTW

Moving out at 18 is strictly an American thing.

Gets you jumping into the hamster wheel quicker. Turning the wheels of capitalism for these rich heathens. Take on more debt, buy more things. It's the American way. Break down the family unit, and disenfranchise people.

All my first-generation friends still live with their parents at 23-25. It's generally considered faux pas to move out before you are married. I understand why they do it now. They save more and do more together. Less bills, less consumption. It's a great lifestyle.

I'm moving out at 23. I just now feel ready to be independent.
To be honest, most Americans do not move out at 18. A large chunk go off to college, but the majority that don't, stay home and get jobs.
I only hear about this phenomenon of "having to move out at 18" on the Coli, and from a few people I went to school with who had ain't-shyt parents, or who lived in Section 8 housing/really bad areas.
Its not that common, there was just a thread about the latest study regarding millennials still living at home.

And young nikkas who just want to get away from home and struggle. Then talk about how hard they got it cuz they choose to move out instead of staying and stacking money

I agree with everything you said except the asexual thing :whoa:

I'm in the same boat working going school and stackin up. Gonna start my own company soon, and look into investing in stocks this year. I'm 22 now and trying to master the game of life as fast and as efficient as possible.
Living with your folks and bringing money in helps them and you and is the structure that was practiced for centuries up until the whole American dream non-sense was made popular.
Not that there's anything wrong with people go about things differently but people who move out and look down on people who choose to stay and home and make the most of their circumstances so they can better prepare for the future need to get over themselves
Immigrants and multiple ethnic groups have been using this formula to steam roll over American citizens for awhile now :jbhmm:

You sound bitter for no reason.

No one cares about your sob story.
It's not a sob story.

It's a story about persevering. Obviously.

An unemployed brat can't tell people who actually out here grinding shyt about nothing.
I know you still mad about that other thread where you called me a liar but couldn't tell me what I lied about :mjlol:

Shut your entitled ass up.
It's not about who struggled the most idiot, your simply a fukkin entitled brat. When shyt doesn't go your way you change life instructions to make yourself feel good.

I agree with you that staying home has great benefits. But as usual you gotta be extreme about things and make it seem like the people who actually have the things you WANT suckers for taking a different path.

You're depressed as fukk and tryna convince everybody (for some strange reason) that you happy with the decisions you make.

My story was about me TRYING, yours is about you CRYING. :pachaha:

My dude we just had a thread about how the average American doesn't have a rack in savings. 10k and an income stream would be a solid start for most people.

That's aiming low, but that's me. I have 6 figures saved up and living below my means. Too many people want to stunt with just 5k saved up.

People are broke, but just don't admit that. No assets in your name, in debt, fukked up credit score, renting substandard apartments in shytty neighborhoods, talking about "I Own my job" :heh: getting mad for no reason at people stacking bread living with their family. These greedy capitalists really did a number on a lot of people

The whole point of living by yourself is so you can have your bytch walking around butt ass naked, cooking your food butt ass naked, doing your laundry butt ass naked, random quickies in the kitchen, the living room, shower, laundry room and the hallway butt ass naked or with clothes on.

Only a nikka who does not get laid regularly prefers living with their parents

if ALOT of Black Parents werent either dysfunctional or tyrannical in running a house, youd see more Black folks staying til they got their shyt together.

I love my parents to death but I couldnt stay with them. I am an Atheist and they devoutly believe in God (and made me go to church every time i lived there). Plus the social hit your life takes living with parents is a burden as well.

:ehh: yup.
