Bradley Beal isn’t a mediocre player. He was a top 3 pick and compared to Ray Allen out of college.

Dude is super talented with a deep bag but you Jordan stans been stopped liking basketball.

Unless you’re one of those fronters who claims to have watched Jordan in 1986 and wasn’t even born yet. :mjlol:

Bradley Beal is a mediocre player who will just be an average 17-19 ppg scorer in the mid to late 80's and 90's. You don't know anything about ball from that era.

I've already stated elsewhere that I'm not that OLD but I'm also not that stupid as well to talk about stuff I'm not so well versed in without doing research. I so happen to have access to 100's of games from that era.

I just uploaded this playoff game from 89 yesterday:

(please sub to the channel btw )

Look at the intensity they play with and compare it to today when you're not even allowed to breath on guys. Look at how clogged the paint is. Look at the hand checking. Its like a different sport.

This regular season game I uploaded :

^^ has more intensity in it than anything I've seen in this era's playoffs in the last 10 years. And this was a REGULAR season game. The refs are barely even blowing for fouls .

Just show some humility on this topic. There are probably other areas of basketball you might know better (especially ones that have to do with you boo thing, Lebron) but i'll school you on all of this.

YUP .... PEOPLE TOTALLY UNDERESTIMATE THE CLOGGED PAINT OF THE 80S VS. SPREAD COURT OF THIS ERA FACTOR........

WIT LEBRON'S STYLE OF PLAY, HE'D BE LUCKY TO AVERAGE 20 PPG IN THE 80S

The 80's were only an "offensive era" in the first half of the 80's , not in the 2nd half in which Jordan played when teams like the Bucks, Pistons and Hakws started to rise in prominence in the East as the best teams for being DEFENSIVE teams. So that's a myth, you're just repeating there, generalizing the whole 80's.

The early 00's was a more defensive era than the late 00's. Doesn't mean the whole era was defensive. The early 2010's was a more defensive era than this current 3' ball happy , late 2010's era.

I don't care if this is Lebron's era or not , ISO. That's not the point here.

If you take a look at the best offensive players the 86 Celtics faced, they faced Dominique in round 2 and he had 24/6/4 on 39 FG% despite the Pistons in the previous round were he had 34/6 on 46 FG%.

In the ECF, the 86 Celtics faced the Bucks and they limited Terry Cummings, one of the most underrated and difficult players to guard of that era to 18/11 on 40 FG%

In the NBA finals of 86, they made Hakeem play worse than he normally could (despite Hakeem having the help of another all star 7'4 giant named Ralph Sampson)
Hakeem had 25/12 on 48 FG% . Hakeem in the WCF against the Lakers had 31/11 on 52 FG%.

Of course the 86 Celtics totally consumed Sampson and made him irrelevant despite the fact he was a giant with good ball skills.

The point is Jordan was able to put up those sort of numbers because in addition to being the best player ever at scoring at the basket, he was also the best midrange shooter ever. He put up those numbers against virtually every team he faced in the playoffs : List of career achievements by Michael Jordan - Wikipedia (scroll down to his individual playoff numbers).

He has several playoff series performances in excess of 40ppg, something no other player in NBA history has even come close to doing, including Lebron. And Lebron plays in an era that is very kind to perimeter players.

Anyway, I have other things to do. Its always fun schooling you on basketball but you make it easier for me, because most times you don't know what you're talking about. I have other things to do. I'll let you have the last word.

Yeah I knew it just one of those younger dudes infatuated with the past.

There’s nothing “mediocre” about Bradley Beal. He has continuously improved year after year he is a dog. He has a very deep offensive skillset and maybe a top 5 step back in the NBA today. He is flat out more advanced in terms of skill than say a Sidney Moncrief.

Look at this shyt that you just typed yeah that regular season game is definitely more intense than say a game 7 of the 2016 Finals. :mjlol:

U ain’t a fan of the game you like an aesthetic you a fan of a time period nikka :camby:

I'm a fan of good basketball. You don't even know me, son. Don't speak out of pocket. The greats will still be great but players like Beal who are killing it today will just be average back then as will some of others since everything about the rules today have been made to let perimeter players thrive. Why Doncic is toying with the league for example (30-10-10 lmao). He won't even have been able to do that in the mid-late 2000's and early 2010's. And why a guy like Nash who will just be a back up random white guy on a roster became a star, post hand check rule removal.

I'm not trying to shyt on todays era, I actually enjoy it but I can also recognize the defense being played, particularly over the last 7-8 years is a joke.

Also, I've bodied you throughout this thread like I always do and you're in your feeling now? :camby:Shut up next time if you don't know what you're talking about. I don't even go into threads on here if im not familiar with the subject matter.
