I'm sorry, I just don't see Travis Hunter as a #1 pick...

Hmmm…I like this comparison.

Struggling with Joe but I think…I think I see where you are going.

He’s an enigma to me because he feels like a Tyrod (Ty now, not the athletic youthful version) or Jacoby Brissett to me, but bulked up a small bit and continued upward trajectory I can def see Warren (not mobile at all but a super accurate knowagable commander of the football)

Nice

HES MOBILE ENOUGH TO
EVADE SACKS, KEEP PLAYS ALIVE
AND MOVE THE BALL DOWN FIELD.

HE CAN RUN WHEN HE ABSOLUTELY
NEEDS TO BUT
ITS CLEARLY BEEN PROGRAMMED
INTO HIM TO BE A PURE POCKET PASSER
AND IT'S WORKED.

HES VERY COMFORTABLE BACK THERE

Here are the last 20 number ones of the past 20 years. If not QBs, the top guy was considered a potential generational talent. If QB, was expected to be a SB winning long term franhise changer. Am I wrong?

  • Caleb Williams, QB
  • Bryce Young, QB
  • Travon Walker, DE
  • Trevor Lawrence, QB
  • Joe Burrow, QB
  • Kyler Murray, QB
  • Baker Mayfield, QB
  • Myles Garrett, DE
  • Jared Goff, QB
  • Jameis Winston, QB
  • Jadeveon Clowney, DE
  • Eric Fisher, OT
  • Andrew Luck, QB
  • Cam Newton, QB
  • Sam Bradford, QB
  • Matthew Stafford, QB
  • Jake Long, OT
  • JaMarcus Russell, QB
  • Mario Williams, DE
  • Alex Smith, QB
Only 4 maybe 5 Hofers

He’s a potential shutdown corner, who can EASILY be a 3rd WR in specific packages and win matchups

I don’t see how he isn’t a top 5 pick
I see more of a Asante Samuel (playmaking) corner than shutdown (man to man wipe a guy out) corner

ELITE ball skills. I love this kids ball tracking ability on the defensive end and I actually think it’s a bit underrated.

WR is tough for me because I feel like people always throw that 3rd receiver thing out there like playing wideout in the NFL is easy and any athlete can do it. There are many thousand yard college wrs in the NFL that barely put up numbers.

I’m not risking my playmaker corner to injury to do something that Tank Dell, Tyler Boyd, Juan Jennings etc can do, and they are full time guys.

It’s not easy to be them, and they do this full time. I can see special plays here and there but that’s not going to win me a chip IMO

@CHICAGO’s Warren Moon / Shaduer comparison has me rethinking ranking Sanders over Hunter in terms of most impact NFL wise…

Correct but look at the list with the eyes of how ppl felt the player would be when drafted

For instance, Jamarcus was an immense, unreal talent.

Trevor was supposed to be Peyton 2.0

Baker was supposed to be Brett Favre reincarnated

These guys were drafted to be generationals. Just didn’t turn out that way

I'll throw a comp for Shadeur in since I seen him discussed in this draft:

Teddy Bridgewater pre injury

I would 100 percent draft him top 5 if not 1. I think he can be a 3 down corner and 1 down receiver which could bring a ton of value to a team.

who said he's going number 1? they just said he's the best player in the NCAA.

Don't the Giants need a QB? Trevor just get flatlined I know he wants out, Jags will need one too. Raiders want Sheuder. Travis will go top 10 for sure tho.

:francis: Sorry brehs, please change my mind...what am I not seeing??

.
I think you might be misunderstanding when they say "a number 1 pick", vs "THE TOP/#1 pick"

Those are 2 different things

I’d honestly take McMillan in the draft before Travis. Not because Hunter isn’t legit, but McMillan with a great NFL QB would be legit broken.

I mainly favor QB/OL during the draft, but this year I honestly think McMillan is the big prize. 6’5 and a quick processor at WR is simply an incredible combination.

You take a qb or left tackle if you need them before you take him. He’s not going 1 but if there’s any draft he could it’s this one. I’m not too sold on taking Shedeur or Cam at 1 but someone has to go first.
I think if the Giants or Raiders get the #1 pick it's definitely going to be QB.
If either of those teams could get a Geno Smith (current) caliber QB now on a rookie deal they'd probably take it, which I could see Shedeur at least being that level of a QB

i think a lot of his value is sapped once the two-way stuff is no longer a thing at the nfl level

he isnt the best CB or WR in the draft but probably top 5 at both so still an obvious early 1st pick

I do not see Shaduer or Travis as “guaranteed 1st round picks”

Again, if Deion was not attached to these guys names, would we be speaking of them so highly?

Travis is closer than Sanders but he needs to dominate at one position (it’s looking like wideout) and learn the game or he will fade to oblivion after he’s drafted. We’ve seen Chris Gamble, Adoree Jackson etc so what he’s doing isn’t unprecedented, we just act like it because it’s Prime and Prime is using the kid for publicity (not implying he doesn’t care about the kid but I def don’t feel he’s really doing what’s best for his career, he isn’t the best athlete to ever play CFB lol)

When you see Marvin Harrison Jr, you’re watching a “guaranteed 1st round guy”. He doesn’t need the name Marvin Harrison.

Shaduer is making decisions that would get him killed in the black media but since his last name is Sanders and WE all love and admire Deion, ppl don’t want to say the stuff on TV…which is cool…black nepotism and favoritism is long overdue, I’m not mad. But when he puts on a NFL uni, that shyt is dead. Fans don’t care if your Joe Montana Brady the 3rd, if he sucks he will get ran outta town, and CFB QBs waaaaay better than him have struggled mightily in the national football league. I mean he looks even to college Tyrod Taylor and can’t hold a candle to college Jameis or Mariota…and none of these guys are starters.
This dumb son of a bytch is back at it again :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol:

His "NFL coaching friends" must have gave him some harsh realities about what's going to happen in April and his little pea brain is struggling to comprehend it LMAO

You can fool the celebs and influencers and old folk that are just supporting Deion, but you can’t fool people that actually watch the game and say - these kids ain’t better than or in the same class as some dudes this year, much less all timers.

Again, if you consume CSU football content all day, you think these dudes are all time greats…

But one step into the real world, does Hunter jump off the map like or would he have been the top guy over these dudes at other programs?

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

The age old Coli tradition of doubling down on fukking dumb .... Goofy ass nikka talking about some Keon Coleman "jumps off the map" differently LMAO..... Just to have to sit and watch Travis dominate all year in an unprecedented fashion on his way to a heisman.....Just embarrassing shyt posting from an embarrassing shyt poster and his "NFL coaching friends"
