I'm sorry but has there actually been a worse president than Trump?

What do you guys consider modern history? Post WW2?
This guy:
Pandemic 200k dead
Assault on voting institutions "vote twice"
Defunding post office
Reinstitution of white nationalism
Recession
Cheated to get elected
Called for foreign hacking to win
Covered for a Saudi murderer of a US citizen/employee
Had national guard deployed against US citizens
Pulled out of climate agreement
Disaster for the environment.
Impeached
Using DOJ for private defense
Quid pro quo
Ain't do shyt about opioids

And this is just term 1 :dead:

Dude is the worst

Idk breh there have been worse presidents before and I don't know if I can say he's worse that dubya because that Iraq war piled up a lot of dead people. He's a disaster though and the wars he nearly started would have been catastrophic

How were they worse than Trump and are we looking at them solely through the lens of their time?
For example Buchanan's weakness and incompetence in addressing the division of slavery and inability to root out corruption in his ranks were a major factor leading up to the civil war.

Unquestionably but for example how does that stack up to refusing to address global warming, pulling out of nuclear arms treaties, and pulling funding from agencies that address medial issues in the developing world that impact hundreds of millions of lives....

I'll always throw Rutherford B. Hayes' name into the hat. The compromise he made to become and stay president condemned newly freed black people to over 80 years of state sanctioned discrimination, exploitation and terrorism. Sprinkle in all the lynchings on top of that.

That black people were in a worse state in 1905 than they were on the eve of shots fired on Fort Sumter, baffles the mind.

Doesn't take anything away from Trump's ineptitude and criminal negligence, but it's recency bias to think his presidency is far and beyond the worse we've seen. If only. So much for that "soul of the nation". It's been rotten since 1619 (word to Nicole Jones)
