Well they couldn’t really make plans officially till the deal closed and when it did.

Other movies was already being planned out; written and filmed so they probably couldn’t and didn’t want to tell everyone to stop what they doing, have an emergency meeting then tell everyone to force them in to their projects.

X-men just had to catch on the next wave and this movie was probably the earliest. They could introduce them in a meaningful way.

Not to mention all the other shyt that’s been fukking up their schedule. Blade was originally announced to drop Nov 3, 2023

I get that. Marvel is just an easy target. So many platforms used the MCU for content and revenue streams.


But you also forgot to mention the fans got older. Some have lost interest after the Infinity Saga. Some are too stuck in the past that they want Marvel to recreate it which is impossible. Newer fans didn’t see all of the marvel releases when they launched.


And then there’s the other issue. Their anchor characters Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are gone. T’Challa was supposed to be one of the new ones, but they didn’t really have a plan in place going forward.

adapt this comic into film, using reyes instead of the og ghostrider

I'd use this store it's more Ghostrider centric but, you can still introduce Dr. Strange while showing just how dangerous and powerful Ghostrider can be. Plus emphasizing why he's necessary.

This a dope ass story basically Johnny/Ghostrider was trapped in hell until he figured out he could just leave through will and travel to other dimensions. He eventually escaped but....unbeknownst to him he had a certain fallen angel and ruler of hell who tagged along. Lucifer came with him and made it to Earth.

After that he posessed a body. Ghostrider attacked but what he didn't realize until after was luci split his soul in 666 pieces that scattered to other people. Luci basically forces people to commint heinous sins for more power. He runs into Dr. Strange during this and they end up fighting. He kicks Stranges ass and Pencance Stares him. He then has to travel every tracking and taking them out but what's cool is this story takes place in the middle of world war Hulk. Ghostrider ends up fighting the Hulk because Johhny was able to take control as he wanted to stop him. The spirit of vengeance Zarathos and him fight for control constantly. Throw in Angels who are causing their own corrupted fukkery while chasing after Ghostrider too.This run started in 05 the whole thing was pure fukkery
