God created a firmament and separated the waters so land could exist. The Israelites considered their universe to be a flat disc floating on water, with firmament above it that held back the ocean of heavens, which was a common theme in myths/religions pre-axial age.

I just told you Genesis 1. Separates the universe into three parts: above, earth, and below. Really try and use your head to figure out how that would work with a sphere, I'll give you a hint: it doesn't.

I honestly don't give a flying fukk what you think. Biblical scholars and historians agree the Hebrews had a flat earth cosmology, if you disagree and think you somehow know more than them, go take it up with people whose careers are dedicated to these topics.

And Moses Leon's (a known forgerist) 'Zohar' was written in 1200AD, thousands of years after Hebrew culture had already interacted and influenced by Greek culture.
