Also you people have to appreciate the cinematograohy, music, and dialogue of this show. The sheer amount of savagery shown in such brilliant art and detail...You've never seen a show like this and I dont think you ever will. The way Hannibal's brain works and his psychology makes him one of the scariest yet admired characters ever televised. The details are everything in this show.

This is probably going to start a stan war but :manny:

The season 2 finale of "Hannibal" was better than any episode of "Game of Thrones". The cinematography is better too, on a much smaller budget.

Fred.
Breh Im a top tier Game of Thrones level stan and even I will say you are right. But Gameof Thrones is not structured in a way that provides noteworthy singular episodes. 'The Children' had potential to top Hannibal but they messed up a few key things badly
I will also say that Hannibal season 2 is on par with Game of Thrones outside of a mid-season slump

Time will only tell whether the quality can stay up. Killer of the Week still happens to this day and that needs to stop.

This why I FCUKS with Hannibal...No BS "true love happy ending everybody is happy a the end of the day" crap from typical Network shows...

I like the way they explore the dark side of human nature, and the brutal imagery...

The show would have been even better if it was on HBO....

I hate happy endings...I like to see people die...If the writers are going to let somebody live, they have to write it in a way that is plausible and rationale...

This is why I am FEASTING off shows like Game Of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Hannibal...:blessed:

Well I powered through and finished the first season and....

:yeshrug:

Still not seeing anything special. I wouldn't put it above even dexters first season. I'll start season two next week but at this point it's just okay. Not something special or anything I'd put on any list. I'll see how season two goes. Other than the cool little fan service that closed out the finale it was pretty forgettable.

This is a show you actually have to sit and watch. Not kinda watch while on your phone. Or kinda watch while you talking to someone. Or kinda anything.....

The reason it's so hyped is the subtle differences. The body language. The slight faces Hannibal makes that translate into big emotions. The words they say are 90% of the time, clues or hints as to something totally different going on. The acting in general is top knotch for tv. People say mads is better based on this level of acting. He nails down a young Hannibal over 2 seasons that rivals Hopkins for 3 movies

Notice the scenery. The locations. The shots. The cinematography. The way everything connects together story and plot wise. The music. The food. The wardobe. The perfection of Hannibal, from his suits to the way he moves and talks

It's all in there. And if you don't like cinema. Like the technical aspects. Or the technical aspects of writing. Or just great acting. Then you won't get it

It's a totally different feel from the movies. This is more psychological thriller about discovering and catching Hannibal. More than a break out and 3 - 4 long talks like silence of the lambs. Or even worse the sequels which were damn near slasher films

Now this is just bordering on pretentious. I notice all these things and can concede it's well made and the acting is fine but, their is just nothing really noteworthy going on.

Maybe it's just because my expectations were too high going in but I've seen absolutely nothing(so far) to warrant such high praise.

I'll drop my thoughts when I'm through season two but at this point it wouldn't even be in my top 100.

Wow, what a garbage poster. Your opinions are shyt. Absolute shyt. :wow:
:camby: Season one was nothing special on any level.

Omg he's serving veil it must be abigale, how amazing :skip:

Omg he's the copycat killer that wasn't blatantly obvious from the first episode. :skip:

Season one was passable. Enough to keep me watching barely but not enough to praise.
