It's not that serious, I can move back home and welcomed with open arms if I want to, I know because I have done it and I always leave before they think I should.. but don't nobody parents really want their kids their unless it's a special circumstance they just ain't gonna tell you that.. They raised you, you owe it to them to give them some freedom now that you are older

welcomed with open-arms? no, they just dont want to turn their backs on you. dog, you just talked about how they said that they prefer you not to live there.

they want us to give them freedom? what freedom? maybe if youre living all up under them and in the way. but alot of people that live with their folks, dont even be there like that, or their parents arent there like that, or they have a whole space to themselves within the crib, or all of the above.

and chit, my pops even suggested that i move back in, instead of wasting money. plus thats more gwap in his pocket, and more time with his grandkids. its a win/win situation.

shoot, my setup is kinda like the ideal one that you subscribed minus the kitchen and all that worthless stuff.

Saving does not equal investing. It shouldn't take you 10 years to make $100k if you're investing your money reasonably.

Anything can happen, many brothers and sisters work hard, get that nice 80k, live well temporarily and get fired and back to moms or back to dealing with someone who has you by the balls because you have no financial resources... when you thinking moms you thinking a safe haven, it's a difference between bumming and trying to do something.

Like another cat said, don't think every job is 80k and up, you have some 35k CAREERS out here that require a MBA or BA degree....

I'm 21 didnt go to college or a uni, still live with my rents and i have been saving for some time now.. plan to save enough so i can pay for my degree without incurring debt... i also plan to live with my rents after i'm done pursuing my studies. I'm Indian though so it's culturally different, i wont have females hating on me if i'm 30 and living with my folks.

If my son wanted to stay home after college. I have no problems with it. But he better be looking for a good job and forget about buying a luxury vehicle.

You need more African or Asian friends. They live at home until they start their own family or in a lot of cases until they can purchase a house and they drive nice cars. I know a Romanian girl who has graduated from college and lives at home. She has a full-time job and everything.
