:manny: hey man i am no construction dude, i just have an eye for things built with shoddy materials and less than stellar craftsmanship and where i live most of the planned suburban communities outside the city limits were built using cheap materials from china and the houses fall apart very quickly. never once did i discount your knowledge about anything, i am merely referring to the current phenomenon of poor people being displaced to suburban communities in america and moving into cheap mcmansions that do not have access to grocery stores, public transit, etc. similar to what has happened in europe in the last 30-40 years. they will be the ghettos of the future as economic reality unfortunately sends people who can't live in cities to outlying areas to shytty houses that more well-to-do people built and purchased years before.

and of course old houses that someone does not take care of will fall apart regardless of when they were built but that is not what i am referring to. i think we have simply crossed streams.

So will you admit I was right and you were wrong :lupe:

Is this nikka @bdizzle really turning this thread in to a discusssion about constructing houses? :heh:

I woke up this morning and I was watching this old house on YouTube. Let me cook breh

@track 1 :salute:

My boy lived at his parent's house until he was 30. Now he has a 3 bed/2 bath townhouse that was built two years ago, a brand new E class, 1967 Mustang, and a brand new jeep wrangler. :wow:

Breh at this point you have two choices:

  1. Emphatically admit to me being right and you being wrong :win:
  2. Or listen to a long ass rant about the importance of having a properly slanted gutter to prevent damage to the fascia board in residential construction :comeon:

The choice is yours :birdman:

I see the thought proccess of a lot of cats in here is "Sometimes people strike out . So why would I ever bother playing baseball!?!?" :lupe:

If you never try, you can never fail... I get that there is a level of comfort to that.. But the mentality comes from fear and not some intelligent master plan to buck the system...

And here is the thing about "struggle".. If you live long enough it's inevitable.. So while you think you're completely avoiding it, what you're really doing is just kicking the can down the road..The struggle will still be there waiting for you when you're 43 leaving your parents funeral to put a electric bill in your name for the first time..You'll just have less tools to deal with it than someone else who's had a 20 year head start...

And lastly and probably most importantly... With women its different. But if you're a male over 30 that has never left the nest your mom thinks you're a fakkit.. She's not gonna say it to you because she loves you and cares about you..But best believe when she's with her friends and she talks about you its with a strong sense of shame..You're making HER look like a failure..No matter how many times she fixes you cheese grits, biscuits and turkey bacon with a smile, she secretly resents you...

well said

That's what I'm saying nikkas is in here like i don't care what another nikka thinks about me living at home, but do care that your own parents thinks you are lazy and un ambitious ? Do you care that they (if you live with both parents) most likely secretly are divided on when and if they should put you out. Trust and believe they want you gone they just ain't gonna tell you.. Y'all should start the leach off my parents and be a lazy bum movement.. Judging by this thread there are a lot if potential members

I lived with my parents after college for 3 years. I couldn't imagine being there into my 30s. Not being able to smash broads, have friends over, etc. That shyt sounds miserable. What good is all that money when you live at your moms house? You immediately go from baller to bum status. That shyt is pathetic, IMHO. I LOVE being on my own; I couldn't have it any other way.

And you nikkas that are bragging about the car you drive when you still live with mommy. Shut the fukk up. :camby:

Only a retard would buy a brand new car before putting a roof over his head.:mindblown:

:mjlol: That is some really terrible use of logic breh. Who are YOU to say that someone's parents don't want him/her living there. What world are you living in? Your logic is deeply influenced by "American culture" which apparently believes that you must move out by a certain age. Do you know how many cultures prefer the opposite? Also, since when did living at home translate to being unambitious? :snoop:

And what happens if you die OP? Or a serious medical emergency requires 50% of your funds? You gonna stay until you're a wrinkly ass nikka at 60 years old?

To have no real world experience at age 32 is disconcerting. I think a lot of yall are blinded by the 'I'm doing this to save money' gimmick. I look at it as 'I'm staying home because I'm afraid.'

Saving is for the poor. Investing is for the rich. You should be DOING something with that cash breh. It's useless sitting in your checking account.

So your parents want a grown as able bodied 32 year old to stay at home, when they can more than afford to do alright on their own? Ok and y'all need to let that other culturs argument go, cause I doubt anyone using that argument know as much about those cultures and why they do what they do as they think
