the ONLY acceptable time for a 30+ year old living at home is when my best friend did it for a while. he had his own spot and was making like 200K a year, but his pops got sick and was unable to work anymore, and he moved in and was helping his moms take care of dude for like a year and helping her pay the bills. it was totally selfless in that instance.

his pops ended up dying suddenly a year later, and after dude died, he moved out, since there was no need for him to be there. his moms still lives in the house, but he got his own spot again and just visits regularly.

is that so

let me ask you how pricey is housing in your area beaniemac :sas2:

I'm 26 and live with my moms. But I am two years out of dental school and paying down my debts. Basically I kick in for rent and food while I stack up. Its a good situation since its a duplex and I have a big ass room/own personal bathroom. No issues with space or shyt like that. I get shyt from friends all the time but they are bums working shyt like late night stock rooms struggling to make 900 rent for roach infested studios. I plan on at least moving out to a decent ass condo/single family home in a year or two. Its way different then being some Will Ferrel step brothers loser

lol....To tell you the truth. The 40K in the bank is useless if he's not trying to better himself with it. What good is 40K in the bank if you are only making $10/hr? ( I'm just throwing an example out there ).

40K in the bank, while most people don't have that much in there, is not exactly life changing/live off of it for the rest of my life type of money. What exactly can you do with 40k? You're not going to buy a nice house, because well you make $10/hr, hmm you can buy another car? take a couple of vacations? Dude 40K is in prison, unless he wants to buy more useless stuff.

and

Y'all keep talking about these what if's? the job market, housing is expensive. Well what if his mother decides to throw him out tomorrow? Now what?

Sorry, we missed your point with stating that. Why exactly do you have to live in an area like that? is all of Canada like that? or is that just where you *want* to live...lol

I never understood nikkas with the "I left home at 17 right after graduation" and shyt on others. If you have the option to have a situation that benefits you finacially, why not take advantage? Of course there's some sacrifices in terms of freedom and social life. Some women(ie black hoodrats) may laugh at you, but others don't mind once they find out what I do and where I'm going. I saw a good point in here about latina and asain women and how they have a close knit family life. They're use to men living with their parents for a while(usually until marriage and sometimes the wife just moves in) so its not too much of an issue with them. Plus, its always hotel rooms :youngsabo:

Average house price rises 7.6% to $409708 in Canada

my point in stating that was that people are on thier high horses living in areas where you can buy cribs for 200, 300k .

And all the decent paying jobs in canada are in the major cities, toronto, vancouver , calgary, montreal etc.

even in god for saken places you gotta pay outta your ass for a place to live

You missed the entire point of that post.. nobody laughed at it. having 40K in the bank w/ a dead end job is not saying much. The only part thats laughable is having 40K in the bank/living at home and not using that money for school to get a better job.

He can take that 40k and get a decent apartment :dahell: If he has 40k while just making 10 an hour hes obviously good decision wise with money
