Illegals and muslims can't be central to the Democrats anymore. Voters are just stupid. Admit it.

No.

Liberal economics get NO play out here. I don't know why you all keep saying this shyt and it does NOT work

Yes they do. The problem is something you brought up - even if a white guy agrees with you on economic policy, if he disagrees with you on immigration, he will vote conservative b/c people will prioritize race/"culture" over pocketbook.

That's not exactly intellectually honest as in the British Parliamentary system, any district that went Labour was a vote for Corbyn in his bid to become PM. Not just his particular district.

SMH. I keep saying this and I will continue to say this but we would not be having this discussion if 100K people across 4 states voted differently or if turnout had been more successful.

Instead of hiring high priced consultants whose advice is no better than what you would get from an online forum, use that money to pay an army of people to do nothing but literally take people to the polls. Have election day parties (with food/drinks/entertainment) where all the people in a given neighborhood congregate in one place for food/entertainment and have a mfer with a minivan taking people to the polls and bringing people back.

I know these kinds of things probably already happen, but it needs to be a much larger percentage of the overall budget. Think about how many people from our generation would be willing to go to a block party with promise of food/drinks/entertainment and all they have to do in return is vote.

Do you not think that if these "liberals" existed, they wouldn't be chased?

They don't.

There is no liberal base. This country is a center-right country with liberals who live on top of each other.

Thats according to how districts are drawn.

Why do you believe Bernie had such a strong advantage amongst the youth?

Its relevant because it informs how Corbyn conducts himself as some uber-leftist.

Its well known. The moment non-whites come into talk about government benefits, people go straight conservative.

It's not that they are idiots. They are the white elite and privileged in Latin America so naturally they align with such parties outside of Latin America.

There are serious class and race divisions in Latin America.
Yeah but this is AMERICA. If they live in this country and fail to understand how White Supremacy works then they are idiots :pachaha:

You can't live in this country and not realize that you as an Hispanic will not be viewed as White in this country..

Ever.

Centrism put Obama and Bill Clinton into the White House.

If Centrism was the key, then Hillary would be President right now. If ever there was a candidate on the right that should have pushed "moderate" Republicans or pure "centrists" (I'm beginning to think these people don't actually exist) to vote for the alternative, it was Trump. You need to understand that for every imaginary voter you think you'll gain by tacking right, you will DEFINITELY lose one from your base.

Secondly, Obama did not necessarily campaign the same way he governed. He was actually seen as more "liberal" than Hillary. Of course once he became president he moderated in the interest of passing legislation, but I would be surprised if he's every owned that term personally. And both Obama and Clinton were extremely charismatic, with a preternatural ability to make people (even those that may disagree with them politically) like them personally.

Finally, I always think it's a mistake to point to Clinton's election (especially 1992) as symbolizing anything politically since Perot had such a huge effect on the outcome (many people think Clinton would have lost if Perot didn't run).

Yeah but Hispanics of non black ancestry don't have a heavy history of being discriminated against in America. Hispanic wasn't even a recognized category until the 1970s. So white Hispanics were basically absorbed into the white community prior to 1970.

Talk to some Old white people from the south. They will tell there were all kinds of immigrant white/whitish people from Latin America in their schools and universities.

They were not in the colored schools.

Talk to your black elders. These people were considered white immigrants.

The left is too obsessed with identity politics. Too many sacred cows which stifles debate and any type of progress from happening, ironically these people call themselves "progressives."

I was banned from the London van attack thread for asking Muslims pointed questions that they felt uncomfortable answering. Then they lock my thread in this forum for the same reason. This type of attitude is widespread now, like that evergreen college fiasco recently showed. People aren't stupid. They may not go and become republicans, but they may become like me and ditch the political process altogether and say fukk this shyt. This is all a symptom of this new age of internet progressivism that has taken over the left, where certain groups of people have achieved eternal victimhood status, and where any critique of ones opinions and personal convictions are considered an affront to human decency...but only if you are in the right camp of course.
