Cacs, but there is no way to stop cacs from doing what they want in America. They have monopoly of power and full autotonomy to do as they please. So what is better is to stem the flow of illegals for cacs to hire AND to push a "hire American--black,white, whatever, just an American" policy. This is the best way.

I never said employers were off the hook...but theres too much supply facilitating that sort of abuse and we can't just ignore both sides of that.

Cause regardless, even if they weren't all employed, and they are, having that many illegals isn't going to just favor those who are already marginalized.

also what do you guys propose as the answer? mass deportation? they already deport people. guess what? they come back. increased border security which was supposed to combat illegal immigration hasn't done shyt. instead illegal immigration went up. it did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do. meanwhile it created a military/prison industrial complexesque industry around border security. so really it hasn't done shyt to solve the problem, while a bunch of cacs got rich off your tax dollars to be unsuccessful at their jobs.

Most blacks are not going to work in Silicon Valley regardless. Though legal immigrants do take some minuscule number of black jobs in high end jobs, the main people they compete with in those jobs are cacs. We have to compete with the jobs where we are, which is lower down the totem pole. In this way black people will gain more wealth.

All this "middle class" lore that whites use to use in talking about how their families "rose up" from is the same shyt being exploited by these illegal families in lieu of black economic humble beginnings.

it's the kind of job you have that creates wealth, not just any job. and illegal immigrants aren't getting out of poverty doing one under the table job, it's 3 of them and living in packed shytholes so they can save money. it's much easier to crack down on the employers. it's easy to take aim at the poor people when in reality it's much easier to stop at the source (the employer) and if the jobs dry up the illegal immigrant tide recedes. but the industries where illegal immigrants are in great numbers: farming, restaurants, janitorial and construction; they are needed to keep our cost of a night out down, food down and cost of home ownership down. so no one is really interested in putting heat on the employers in those fields.

I'm down to put the boot on employers, but they're exploiting a supply that shouldn't even exist.

I don't think any reasonable American wants open borders where anyone walks freely.
But we can't ignore the people who are here. Who are productive members of society. And who abide by the laws.

Undocumented immigrants, by and large, are not coming for your Brain Surgeon jobs.
Most of the complaints about the jobs they do take seems like a race to the bottom from the Americans who are here.

As Thomas said in the opening comment of the thread -- people need to strive to do better.
Apparently you disagree and think the saving grace of Americans is more dishwasher, hotel maid and fruit picker jobs.

The average black or white or any person doesn't start a business, attend, college, etc. They are worker bees that need jobs to maintain a quality standard of life, raise their children, etc.

but there are black business owners. Unfortunately, not every black person can be a business owner. No matter what in capitalism, there are different classes. An economy where everyone owns their own shyt simply doesn't exist.

So we should just forget the lower class of blacks because of unrealistically high standards?
