If you're son/daughter is a athlete or entertainer and they grew up rich & connected...you're a failure.

Bc that “billionaires son” is taking the spot and $$ from someone more deserving/better bc of HIS FATHERS accomplishments. The LeBron/bronny discussion is not a hard 1 to understand, he’s not an NBA player. G-League guy at best
This is one of the most racist cac opinions I’ve ever saw on this site. You white fukkers make me sick:mjpls:

This is a case where Black Nepotism actually hurts other Black folks. Like in most African countries, where unless your fam is connected, good luck getting any decent opportunities.

This.

With them ruining affirmative action.
It sets us back.
Yet bron did do the right thing to fight fire with fire for bronny using nepotism.
Aa real talk. I believe bronny was born into a world wide void of affirmative action in the flavor. That allowed gen x on the tail end.
to reap the benefits of black nationalism and rhe civil rights movement.

So for bron to adjust to the current affirmative action less times. I have no issue with. As it is malleable to the conditions present. Given the possibile conditions for survival.
As well as the ability to thrive given the times.
Without affirmative action.
We need models of success to create anything to make it better. Or how to survive. While trying to reestablish affirmative action in a more advanced flavor. Than what was taken away and helped rhe Black community post civil rights movement. Till it was negatively amended. Or pretty much taken away.

Dumb take. You have to realize the world we're in now. There are more eyes on entertainers and sports stars than other fields. You can use that stardom as leverage to push products in a business You run.

Or even pursuing politics off of name alone.

People follow who they know and that's an easy vote.

I got two kids in mind, but, one too young for me to be talking shyt. I'm not even mad at the kid.

With all the Bronny talk....not enough ppl are asking?

Why is a billionaire's son playing fukking NBA basketball?

:krs: "Bron got his son $5 million"

:beli:

Yes, because Bronny is hurting right now.

Like all the productive shyt they could be doing...and they entertaining folk.

Yes, that little muh'fukka should be a doctor or lawyer.

Obama daughter is writing on a TV show

:stopitslime:

All those connections and resources...

:mjlol:WHY WOULD A RICH PERSON
DO SOME HARD shyt LIKE BEING A
DR OR LAWYER FOR 6 FIGURES
WHEN THEY CAN PLAY BASKETBALL
FOR 9 FIGURES?

IS DELL CURRY A FAILURE?

That's probably true...why is a kid with everything aspiring to dribble a fukking ball?

I'm a sports junkie, but, I'm not gonna be in position to have my son do anything and have him wanting to play sports for the rest of his life risking long term damage to his body.

I used to think the same, but No child dreams if being a corporate lawyer or a partner at an accounting firm. :heh:

Besides, Bronny is making more money right now than most partners at the most prestigious law firms or consultancies who work incredibly stressful 60-80 hour weeks.

Why would you want to subject your son to a life as a corporate drone if they don’t have to be?

He can always fall back on the family business if he chooses. These rich kids have one thing that 99% of people don't, choices.

What do you mean by they SHOULD be doing something else. They are doing what works for them at there current stage in life. Someone tell LeBron James that Bronny is a failure because a random person ( @Easy-E ) on the internet said so

Foolish thread

In the sky
I mean i found it especially strange that the was forced to play basketball still after damn near losing his life on the court. You would think he wouldve just got him a job a Clutch, and he would become an agent or some shyt.

Crispness
@Easy-E came in hot today (pause). Lol

I don’t necessarily agree, but there are (as usual with most things) levels to this chit.

For example, let’s isolate one thing it looks like is being skipped:

Why is a billionaire's son playing fukking NBA basketball?

There are people who are “rich & connected”, but “billionaire“ is even above that…
so yeah - if you are a Billionaire and your child is an entertainer, you as the Billionaire parent (put yourself in those shoes) either feel like

A) “I failed”
B) “At least they’re doing what they want, and I can help them”
C) “They better be good at it, because I’m a Billionaire not them. They gotta get their own money”
