Bc that “billionaires son” is taking the spot and $$ from someone more deserving/better bc of HIS FATHERS accomplishments. The LeBron/bronny discussion is not a hard 1 to understand, he’s not an NBA player. G-League guy at best
He’s still taking a spot from someone, it doesn’t matter whatever year u wanna say. He’s taking a spot from someone bc he is Lebrons son. Thats the problem
Funny thing is that his younger son Bryce is a better prospect but u don’t hear sh!t about him bc of the “LeBron/bronny laker” story (and he’s probably better for it)
Anyone who is Black dapping these posts is a cotdamn c00n.
To address your argument -
The spot that Bronny is taking up is rather inconsequetinal because it's a revolving door.
The player who'd be in his place would not be getting gametime in the NBA, and they'd likely be at the start, in the middle or at the end of their path as a journeyman. Every single squad has dead-end spots that are used purely for depth or add-ons for salary cap purposes, where the players allocated to them aren't going to make their mark in the league. If they're good enough to make their mark, there's another 29 teams they can get an opportunity with.
Bronny is on an infinite list of players throughout NBA history who've benefited from nepotism, management partisanship, veterancy or any other type of favoritism that was the ruling factor behind why they got a roster spot. That's before we take into account all the players who were overlooked because of some prejudicial treatment, whose spots went to players who were less worthy.
You wanna go back in the time and address when they had a quota on how many Black players were allowed in the league (where players were taking up spots purely on the basis that they were
white), or do you wanna fixate on this ONE example where a Black man is getting a spot that otherwise would be taken up by someone who probably wouldn't even be on the roster this time next season?
Nah, I didn't think so.
