Vast majority of doctors in non specialized fields report burnout and frustrations with dealing with the healthcare industry in America. I have a family friend who’s been an emergency medicine doctor for 15 years. He says it’s gotten almost untenable to do his job. So many other doctors with his experience are leaving to open their own urgent care centers or telemedicine practices because of this. And 90% of lawyers ain’t worth shyt.

the MDs i know one is ballin working for a pharmaceutical company, one had debt wiped per biden's doing, and idk the other ones pockets like that.

Definitely. For so long we've used doctors and lawyers as a shorthand for success, but I don't think people truly know what goes into it. You should do it if it's the career you want, not on some look at me I'm a noble success story type shyt. If that's your motivation to get through the grind and BS it takes to even be a bottom tier doctor or lawyer then good luck to you.

I get the allure of wanting to make his pops proud, and potentially pops using that to bolster his own ego. I see it all the time. In this case for that to have happened, his moms would have had to be a party to those decisions...and was okay with it. It would take some cold-blooded parenting to have both of them essentially say "eeeehh, let him crash out if he wants, we have other kids"...I don't see that from them, at all.
