If you're son/daughter is a athlete or entertainer and they grew up rich & connected...you're a failure.

Bc that “billionaires son” is taking the spot and $$ from someone more deserving/better bc of HIS FATHERS accomplishments. The LeBron/bronny discussion is not a hard 1 to understand, he’s not an NBA player. G-League guy at best

This tired ass argument

It's black dollars, not only a black dollar

It's also a black dollar going to black folk that ain't gone squander it on bullshyt because they grew up with money

This hate

You’re absolutely right unless they are an undeniable talent. Bronny shouldn’t be in the NBA and 5 milly is nothing to the James family. As much of a bumbling fukking racist idiot that Trump is, his kids are college educated and successful. Puff is worth hundreds of millions and what are his kids doing? TI? Russell Simmons? Dre? Blue Ivy will be on a stage struggle singing and dancing too, I see the writing on the wall.

If I’m wealthy, my kids are going to an Ivy League school and we are going to use these connections to take sh*t to the next level. We can’t just be generation after generation of jesters.

The Coli is about to crucify you though..,
Doesn't even have to be ivy League imo. A real good tech school would be great with the backing of parents like that.

Most Black people just really don't seem to get it

I got two kids in mind, but, one too young for me to be talking shyt. I'm not even mad at the kid.

With all the Bronny talk....not enough ppl are asking?

Why is a billionaire's son playing fukking NBA basketball?

:krs: "Bron got his son $5 million"

:beli:

Yes, because Bronny is hurting right now.

Like all the productive shyt they could be doing...and they entertaining folk.

Yes, that little muh'fukka should be a doctor or lawyer.

Obama daughter is writing on a TV show

:stopitslime:

All those connections and resources...
I agree most wealthy Black entertainers seem to drop the ball with investing in their kids.

But Bron should've been honest bout Bronnys skills lol

He’s still taking a spot from someone, it doesn’t matter whatever year u wanna say. He’s taking a spot from someone bc he is Lebrons son. Thats the problem

Funny thing is that his younger son Bryce is a better prospect but u don’t hear sh!t about him bc of the “LeBron/bronny laker” story (and he’s probably better for it)

He's not really taking a spot. The NBA is an entertainment product first and foremost. The sports component is a distant second. In other words, the NBA as an organization wants Bronny in the league as opposed to that 11th spot on the bench that would be held by non descript players and 10 day contract guys. Doesn't matter. Bronny won't be in the league in 2027

As it pertains to Bronny. As a kid most kids look up to their dad. Look at Payton and Eli Manning. I mean Bronny played AAU trained with some of the best. Maybe Bronny wanted to play ball, and it’ll transition into something else. I do agree with the premise. I just don’t think that was his aspirations. I think he just wanted to be like his dad. A lot f these kids just look up to their parents. I just would monitor who I would have around them. Just because their parents rich don’t mean their kids rich. They still gotta stand on their own two.

Problem is, a lot of kids want to follow in their parents footsteps instead of finding their own path.

What can the parents do? Canelo said he doesn't want his son to box, but the son said he wants to be a boxer, like him. Hopefully he changes his mind. Christiano Ronaldo jr wants to play soccer with his dad too

What a stupid thread.

I suppose Taylor Swift's parents are failures also since they didn't prep her to be a doctor or lawyer?

Jud Buechler has three championship rings.

I don't care if Bronny is lowest man on that roster; he can do that and earn a doctorate at his leisure, use the connections you're prattling about in any number of unseen ways, whatever. And still show up, play a role, and get rings like his father. Having multiple options is the entire point of the exercise.

Has it ever occurred to you that not everyone WANTS to be a doctor, or lawyer? Trump is in his position because of who his father was. His kids aren’t the best person for the job, but he gave them those jobs, because they’re his kids. You’re supposed to make life easier for your kids. Most boys if given the option of training, and getting into the NBA, will choose that over years of studying, long hours in an hospital, a courtroom, and stress. And he still has plenty of time to do whatever he wants. That’s the beauty of being wealthy. You have options.

It’s like a lot of y’all want to see black people struggle.

I agree in theory but the truth is, you have no control over what your children choose to do. Isn't one of Buffet's kids a musician?

Not everyone has it in them to be a business man or to be academically successful
